As someone who wants Panarin, his potential 12 million dollar cap hit scares the hell out of me
But he looks good in the uniform so
This team is gonna have cap problems if they sign him, but he’s probably worth it
So it seems like they pasted Panarin's face on top of Chytil

My god. You guys with the prospects. Newhook? Really?
Wtf is Newhook? A kid with potential who 15 other teams passed on?
God bless JG.
Ha! If nothing is hurting you then you didn’t play hard enough. I’m 41 and feel like I got hit by a truck most days.Really? I just hit 45 and I feel like with no knee pain, hip pain and overall feeling great, I could take a hit from ovy and a few crack ribs I’d be in the lineup in a few short weeks.
So long as there's no guarantee that the player makes back all of the money left on the table and there's no guarantee that management will keep them indefinitely until a certain amount is paid, it's a standard upper management job offer for ex-players with ties to the organization and community. As long as it's a player being hired for a job with substance and getting paid a reasonable amount, it's all kosher.
this guy Adam Papoušek (@AdamPapousek) | TwitterHey guys I'm interested in playing for the New York Rangers. Who do I talk to so I can get a free suit?
There are going to be so many players available in coming years when we are actually ready to compete that very possibly will fit a need more so than wing.
Even still, wingers are the easiest 'elite' players to acquire. There is always one or more on the market every year, whether via FA or trade.
We have one of the deepest prospect pools in the NHL. It will be impossible for us to fit all of our prospects and future picks into the lineup. We will have to move guys. And we will be able to put together incredibly enticing packages for those elite players when they become available.
Having the cap space to do so, when that time comes, is critical. Signing Panarin is incredibly short-sighted and just a poor move. It stinks of Sather and a time that has (hopefully) passed. It is especially poor considering our current center situation which also has the bleakest future prospects as well.
Well, we know what Plan A is. I wonder what Plan B is. (and I am quite sure there is a Plan B)
Biggest disappointment this off-season is that none of Vesey, Names, Shatty, Smith or Staal have been traded (yet).
I am not criticizing Gorts, there has been all kind of talk about an massive amount of deals to be made, and for a while there we actually saw some action. But when everything is said and done, in terms of heads moved the count is still very low. It’s so hard to get stuff done.
