Do you think the Ducks are going to trade Henrique and Klingberg?I can vouch for that. Lol

Won't happen until the offseason but it would allow them to add needed depth.Trade Goodrow
Do you think the Ducks are going to trade Henrique and Klingberg?
Who came up with this shit?
Considering Gary is making up the rules as he goes, I wouldn’t put anything past themIf Motte is really concussed the league isn't really gonna make us play 11/5 tomorrow right?
Not sure how that hit was anything about “his style of play” it was a dirty hit.Good call. Unfortunately his style of play lends to getting injured IDK. I felt we should just keep him and Goodrow in a bubble until game 1 of the playoffs.
True that hit in particular not his fault it was a nasty dirty hit but he has already had what 3 or 4 close calls already since being traded for? I wanted Motte but he has to find a way to stay healthy. Not sure how that hit was anything about “his style of play” it was a dirty hit.
This wasn’t a blocked shot or awkward into the boards due to a missed hit.
You can say some guys get injured, but if a guy gets injured by something that’s likely a suspension, you can’t really fault the player for it.
this is my point. its nothing against Mikkola. He is an expiring contract who will likely need a raise in offseason. If Rangers plan on signing him and moving other parts out, then keep him. If they dont plan on re-signing him, they need to have depth here for the rest of the season.
I'm not sure Mikkola will get a raise. I actually think he will sign for less what he makes now if he gets around 3 years term.
Wouldn't be surprised, the league hates Dolan. But I think they will because it was a legit injury. If Motte is really concussed the league isn't really gonna make us play 11/5 tomorrow right?
If thats the case, then i will certainly stand corrected. because if his cap hit is less, hes definitely better than what they have as a bottom pairing player.I also agree, I don't see Mikkola making the same amount he is making this year. He has 4 points in 61 games this season and his possession metrics aren't great. He's the type of guy who will more than likely get squeezed this off-season with the cap not raising much.
The answer to all our problems: BIG Z

Make it happen Drury
Zadorov is a very good skater, Trouba is a horrible skater. It humors me that you hate Trouba but love Zadorov.
Z is Trouba but dumber.
Zadorov is a very good skater, Trouba is a horrible skater.
Zadorov's name also ends with an "-ov"
AgreedMost teams go heavy, loading up with players who are good in corner battles, and crashing the net. Rangers brass went with a completely different perspective by building and then adding highly skilled perimeter players. Ballsy move, or at least somewhat against the grain.
When you have that you need to own the puck in the O zone, be deadly on the PP, and have teams terrified to give up odd man breaks to you.
I don't believe this team personally has the make up to win a cup. Pray I'm the idiot my wife thinks i am sometimes.
Pretty sure just one of Tara or Kane would have been my dice roll. But I understand how weak the right side was, so I get it, and I support it.
Love Drurys guts to try these moves and go the full skill route.
I don't see how these never ending 40 ft cross ice passes are going to work in a playoff series though.
I see the possibility of a neverending slew of 3 on 2's and 2 on 1's against this team. With Shesty firmly back down to earth, it could get real ugly.
Just imagine if just ONE of KK or Laf were Tim Stutzle.
People may get what they want here. GG may very well have to leave the kid line together for better or worse. If they are non factors in the playoffs, I'd bet the house the Rangers don't go far if they make the playoffs.
Motte is never going to make it through the regular season, let alone the post season. Guy is snake bit.
I'd look hard at Will Cuylle there. He's an important player for this franchise imo.
Love to see a game or 2 from this Lockwood guy.
KAM put this team in a shitty position with that lame, weak maneuver.
Love Mikkola. Harpur showed you his best. Love Schneider, but I would like to see him add a bit of nasty to his game. He's prob the nicest guy on the planet.
Don't know of it's been noticed by some, but Fox has been getting hit a lot lately. Teams are going to take the age old theory of hammering the opposing teams best D man into the ice in the playoffs.
Gotta have that bye week. The only saving grace about this is that everyone has the same nonsense.
There is no reason for 16 games in March.
what do you mean done for today?Rangers are basically done for today according to Frank. Edmonton. Minnesota. Done.
Point conceded, but that was a filthy hit that could have happened to anyone.Did anyone else have Motte injured within ten games of being acquired or was that just me?
With what as payment? A bag of M&M’s?was really hoping we would upgrade Harpur.
It would also stop gallant from himself.Won't happen until the offseason but it would allow them to add needed depth.
Well its true that we didnt expect to get both.
It is also true that we knew cap was going to be tight and were going to get one of them and help on defense. So why waste space when having a 23 man roster clearly wasnt needed.
Worst comes to worst we have extra space and dont need a team to retain as much and maybe get the price down pick wise for retention.
Its just poor planning and anticipation of the trade deadline possibilities. I mean with extra cap space maybe we go after a d that is better than mikkola.
