Ooof, glad I stayed away from here for a couple days. Some people really cant handle a rough stretch in the season playing down multiple players and acclimating new guys.

We've got 19 games left. We know we are making the playoffs and that we're probably paying NJ or CAR. Basically just stay healthy and build chemistry the next month and a half an we'll be golden heading into the playoffs.

Lafreniere in particular has had a problem with gliding, especially when he has the puck that was evident even in juniors. I remember Will Scouching talking about that as one of his issues he had and that he was going to have to adjust playing in the NHL. 3 years in and it's still a problem. Among other things.
It's one of the most obvious things in his game when he's not playing well. Basically any time he's having a good game it's a night where he's moving his feet non stop.

This is an issue that plagues a lot of the team, a lot of puck watching, a lot of gliding and reaching.

So lines still the same then?

This coach had so much time to put anything else together.

Any lineup posted here in the last 72 hours has a better chance of working than 20-93-91.

Me when I hate these lines but at least Miller is back

I don't feel that it's dark.

People have expectations.

That beats a few years ago when the discussion was "can't believe Namestnikov scored and dropped us from the 6th pick to the 7th pick!"
It struck me as a bit doomy and gloomy, and then his optimism was a stark contrast. Just me, not trying to change anyone's minds, or stifle conversation, the total gear shift of his post just hit my funny bone.

I'll ride with Panarin and Kane for the remainder of the weekend but if they refuse to play defense and take shots and it's going to be pond hockey love fest, the swap of Vladi and Kaner needs to happen.
