and Kravtsov. And Howden being dogshit. And Hajek. And inexplicably drafting Lindf*** over literally anyone else in that 2018 2nd Round. And Lundkvist. And Kakko being a massive disappointment. And Laf being an even bigger disappointment.

There was absolutely no room for Kak/Laf to underperform with all the bad picks we made and welp, look where we are.

Trocheck was signed to fill his role. The constant search for a 2C was because of that blown pick.

By the way, Trocheck has been a stud. He can take over a game

he's been on a heater lately, even while the rest of the team has sucked. If he plays like this in the playoffs that bodes very well.

I don't disagree. They are in a better position to do this though than we are and at its core, I think that is what a lot of people here are upset at. The Devils rebuild is how they wanted our rebuild to go. Hischier and Hughes are progressing how we wanted Kakko and Laf to progress.

We couldn't make that move, even if we could have beat their offer. We would have truly nothing left and we can't afford to re-sign him.

Kane will cost way less and is (still) the better player, but the problem is Kane will be a Rangers for 2 months and Meier will be a Devil for 8 more years.

Kane plays and thinks the game at another level compared to our forwards, with the exception to Maybe Panarin. I believe these 2 will pop off and Fox will also mesh well with his style.

I'm more mad about it because we're going to have to play them. They were already a bad matchup for us and Meier is just more fuel to the fire for that.

We just have to hope we're firing on all cylinders and our D and especially Igor are all at their best. What we really need is for the coaching staff to have an actual strategy to slow the Devils down.

We have a medieval way of development and it shows. When you’re to afraid to give the kids the keys and expect them to drive when it comes time, you’re seeing the results.

It will be what will forever holds this franchise back.

Nils kinda sucks. he has two skills and he's not really good at either of them.

The Devils have 14 (14!) pending UFA's and RFA's with arbitration rights. They have A LOT of work to do to keep some semblance of that team together.

I just don’t believe that all of the people we drafted are busts. It’s almost statistically impossible.
