None, some of them show multiple angles of a play but that's all. This spans from his D-1 through 2021-22 season, includes rare footage of WJC not available on YouTube. Pls watch it though, it's well worth your time. I've used the video during a couple debates on the main board and a few guys who are fans of other teams admitted they have a completely different view of Krav after watching it.
What do you do for work?

NYR Social media team trying to send a message or what? 💀
First time I've seen in a posted interview that black background with black jacket, shirt, lol

What do you do for work?
Professional Vitali Kravtsov and Pavel Buchnevich cheerleader. Wonder what he thinks about the Britney Griner trade today...

Or just laugh. Jovo does it to be funny. Why can't people just laugh anymore or move on
It wasn't funny? Not the second time. Certainly not the 500th time.

Bit harsh on EdJovo let's all take a deep breath and remember the ignore button exists !
He starts GDTs. If I ignore him, I'm blocked from seeing the GDT. I'd happily block him otherwise.

You need veterans too, but I think they should keep both first rounders. If they make a run and deal one conditionally on making the finals or winning the cup, then I’m okay with it
I’m not trading either of this years firsts under any circumstances. Too much talent in the draft this year. Draft correctly and you will have two young studs showing up just when some of the Rangers vets start to age out.

Look at what Colorado did last years with two seconds and a prior year pick.

If it’s absolutely necessary to trade a first, trade 2024.

I agree with you. I’m just saying if the later 1st is conditioned on winning a cup, I don’t care so much.

The Kravtsov debate on here seems to be neglecting the main point for Gallant. Coach’s number 1 objective right now is getting the four lines to continuously play the right way e.g. manage the puck well, play more north/south, win more battles in the blue paint, etc. all season we’ve done a terrible job of playing a full 60 with all the Is dotted and Ts crossed.

I think Kravtsov has been very responsible on the ice but if you put him in top 9 role. You are likely moving Goody down and scratching brodzinski, only because the two top nine spots that make the most sense for Kravtsov belong to Goody and Vesey. Both of them PK. So both are staying in the lineup. They would just be moved down to the 4th line for VK to play. So then one of the 4th liners would have to sit. Brodzinski is the most likely candidate, followed by Gauth or Blais. TBH gauth and Blais provide a ton of size and unexpected skill for a fourth line and I think Gallant prefers to play them as their effectiveness increases the rest of the lineups effectiveness. Unfortunately, none of those guys on our 4th line PK either. So again, to get Kravtsov in, you have to break up the 4th line. Finally I think Galkant prefers to take away Panarin toys at 5v5. Chytil is very N/S as is Goody. And Panarin has been the worst at forcing passes and turning pucks over. I thino Gallant is trying to minimize that issue. In addition, Chytil is only meh in his own zone. Playing him with Bread is a big risk. Having Goody play chaperone makes more sense than Kravtsov. Kravtsov should not be asked to babysit as it neuters his game just like it neutered Kakko to play with Bread and Strome. Goody also takes draws and can spot in at times for Chytil if nec.

So there are a lot of legit reasons why Kravtsov is odd man out right now. Team is still needing to solidify identity, d coverage and playing style. So yeah, are Kravtsov’s underlying numbers strong, yup. Are they stronger than others, yes. Do they need to play him? Yup!! But while the ship is still being righted I get why Goody and Vesey are where they are. Now if any one of Kravtsov, Gauthier, Blais or laffy could start PKing, it might help VK get more time. Honestly I’d love to see VK PK. I think he’d be great at it. That would solve a bunch of problems.

Can sit Vesey though. He hasn't been bad but VK has much more upside. Gauthier-Brodz-Blais is a great 4th line and Goodrow can play around the top nine.

Vesey and Goody are one of the two main PK units upfront. Gallant has no comfort level with other units besides CK/Mika and them. Sparingly uses Tro/Kakko. That’s the heart of the issue re Veseys place in lineup.

I'm not sure where my reply went... But I agree GG is probably thinking this but I'd hope they're working on a non-Vesey pk setup. If not they should have practices before NJ and Toronto to figure something out. I'm sure brodz can handle it, for one.

Am i the only guy here not in love with Vesey?
He should be odd man out
If they insist on keeping goody with Panarin and Chytil
I think Kreid Tro VK gives u more offense on the 3rd line plus gets VK much needed game experience
And i liked blais JB Gauthier as 4th
I don't love or hate Vesey, but hes not costing the team any wins or causing any losses in his role on any line, so I'm meh on him at the moment.

He is Putty reincarnated

The 2023 draft is the best draft since 2003.

Biggest disappointment for the Hawks is Kane. The media treat this player like an elite player. He has scored one even strength goal since October 27. Four goals. I don't care how bad the Hawks are.

The national media says Kane and his agent Brisson are looking to join a legit Cup contender. They treat him like a difference maker.

Every Rangers podcast. Kane. The funny thing is they never mention his lack of offensive production.

Goodrow has more goals than Kane.

If Panarin needs to play with a guy with 4 goals to wake the f*** up, we have big problems with Panarin.

Taylor Hall had a NMC with Buffalo. The Sabres traded Hall to Boston for Anders Bjork. Hall wasn't playing well and he wanted to play for a small group of teams. Hall was a few seasons removed from winning the Hart. Buffalo got Bjork for him.

This is a very well thought out post and I realize you’re trying to look at it from Gallant’s perspective. But none of these are good reasons.

You start out by saying that you think Kravtsov has been responsible out there. If true, there’s no reason to healthy scratch him.

Scratching Brodzinski is not a big deal. He’s a minor leaguer. He’s only up bc Carpenter sucks. Slide Vesey or Goodrow to the 4th line and scratch him.

Scratch Blais maybe. He hasn’t done a damn thing in 2 years. 0 goals as a Ranger. He’s a decent 4th liner but he’s not beyond the press box.

Although I wouldn’t choose this route, can also scratch Gauthier. He’s played better this year, but he’s faded of late.

“Break up the fourth line” that he just put together 2 games ago….

Benching Kravtsov bc he is “Panarin’s toy” is kind of crazy, if true, that’s a fireable offense in and of itself. Saying Gallant is scratching Kravtsov bc he doesn’t want him to play chaperone for Chytil and Panarin and neuter his game is giving Gallant too much credit. It’s just very unlikely.

Kravtsov should be in the lineup over Vesey, Blais, Gauthier, or Brodzinski. And yes those players’ skill sets are better suited for the bottom 6 than VK’s, but not better suited than Goodrow’s, who would replace any one of them when VK takes Goodrow’s spot.

This whole thing is bananalands to me. The coach doesn’t like the player. There’s no rational basis to justify scratching him. The team needs to see what it has with him, or up his trade value. I’m pretty much starting to accept that they will either trade him soon or fire Gallant, it just isn’t going to work.

Full trade was Hall + Lazar for Bjork + 2nd.

But Patrick Kane is one of the greatest American born players of all time, on a different level than Hall. But you are right that Kane hasn’t been great this year.

So what’s the equivalent. Kane for Cullye + 2nd in 2023?

You are making the extremely faulty assumption that 15 points in 36 games tells you about his skill level when he did that by shooting 25.8%. If he shot a reasonable 10% you are now at 10 points in 36 games. He is your run of the mill 20ish point 4th liner that is dime a dozen around the league and can be had for around league minimum. The fact that he is a total zero on special teams, for whatever reason, makes him even less valuable.

Are you impressed by a 20-25 point season? 302 forwards last year played at least 40 games and scored at "a pace" of 25 pts/82 or better. 344 did 20 pts/82 or better. Only 64 forwards in the league did under 20.

So here is the issue, I am neither a huge fan, nor a hater. All I consistently seem to be doing is fighting from the opposite side of 'he's horrible and has always been horrible'.

I still think, if he was healthy last year, the team would have been seeing a 30-35 point, physical winger. Is that some key-cog to this team? Doubtful. Would he add something the team needs with his style of play? I think so. It's all moot because Subban destroyed his season

The thing is, whether you care about Kravtsov specifically or not, he’s a 9th overall pick and 22 years old. He should be in the lineup.

DING DING DING DING DING

Look, I can understand the reasoning if you play a guy like Buchnevich over Kakko in previous seasons. That makes sense. And if we had some actual top-6 wingers to play ahead of Kravtsov, I'm all for it. But this team and its coaches have put a parade of bottom-6 players ahead of our top prospects.

Fast
Blackwell
Hunt
Blais
Goodrow
Vesey

Sorry, but there's just no excuse for that. That's not how you handle your top-10 picks. We finally got Laf and Kakko on the top-line with Zibanejad but for how long? How long until Gallant has that itch again and changes it up?

This. If you have to put a magnifying glass to advance stats and contort yourself into a pretzel to justify playing a background character over your blue chip prospect, just play the prospect.
