They'll be 30 years old eventually and then what??!?
Hopefully they age like Bergeron, Krecji, Crosby, Stamkos, Kucherov, Hopkins, Tavares, etc... who are all just as old and, in some cases, much older than they are.

Am I the only one kinda excited about the kid line being together again? I know Chytil can play and be effective/put up points with other linemates but Kakko/Lafreniere (especially Lafreniere) seem to be quicker on the puck and not afraid to do a bit more with it. I'm especially cool with it if they average about the same or more ice time (like last night) than the other forwards getting top ES minutes
I don't know how much value Tarasenko has.
StL was trying to give him away for the last few years.

I'm his fan too and after seeing Leschyshyn the last few games I'm sure Brodzinski will be back up and Lesch put on waivers / sent to Hartford after this week.Brodzinski is quietly effective which is a death sentence for a 4th liner.
They need a guy who looks like he's hustling because he can't keep up.
I call it Schrodinger's Howden.
Having said that, it’s shaping up to be a decent trade deadline if you’re looking to add some scoring. There are some pretty big names out there, and I’m not convinced there will be nearly as many contending teams either interested or able to buy.
I could be wrong, but my initial read on the market is that the price may have to come down for some of the big names.

LeBrun: How does the Max Pacioretty injury impact the Hurricanes' trade plans? Checking in with GM Don Waddell
The Hurricanes have a hole in the lineup and cap space to spare after losing Pacioretty for the year with a torn Achilles tendon.theathletic.com
What's the difference between Morgan Barron being used in NHL games because he's a hockey player and being used in NHL games because he's being showcased? He played 13 games last year and 5 the previous year and was traded. Zac Jones played 12 games last year and 10 games the year before and wasn't traded. Was Jones being showcased too? They'll be 30 years old eventually and then what??!?
Morgan Barron says hi.
But they don't give a shit about that, it's just a reward for Cuylle imo.
Know nothing about him....
Yzerman drafted Libor Hajek, of course he traded him too, but Walman is an UFA at the end of the season. Maybe Hajek, who has more team control and a nothing pick for him would get the job done.
Last night was good but they’ve been awful when together so far this year. All for it if it turns around.
Tarasenko was at rock bottom when he was on the block. He has turned it around and is a solid top 6 guy worth quite a bit.
can't get worked up over 29 year old career minor leaguersIm not upset just lamenting that we playing a worse player with no history with the org
Then you draft one. Don't give up that pick to get a guy we have no room for.
Let's not play guys out of position, for 4 years. He could probably play wing in the interim.

...Or we riot

Worry about next season after this season. Conn Smythe contenders will be sought after.Salary cap? Nyr can barely if at all afford 1 of labanc or tyjo @ 50% next season
We might get some Pizza Hut breadsticks for him…but probably just a small order at his value.Trade him so I can stop being a fan of this pathetic organization already
You’re not the only one mentioning itMentioning it isn’t getting worked up
I have to imagine that there's added pressure player with Mika and Kreider or Panarin and Trocheck. He looked good last night. Let's hope he keeps it up.Am I the only one kinda excited about the kid line being together again?
