Is he actually going to dress?

Speed and Size. Cuylle and Gauthier together could be interesting.

I think he gets the 2 before the break and then they go from there. He is a better 4th line fit than anyone currently playing on it.

Yeah good point, he has looked better in a Top 9 role, but even up there, want to see more from him. It's like with Laf they have these good games now and then, but need more consistency.

Honestly, I was hoping to have seen more from Kravtsov by this point. He has looked ok but he isnt even getting accidental points like other guys. It's far from guaranteed that he is a lineup regular when the playoffs start imo. Clearly the Rangers are going to be experimenting on the 4th Line between now and the deadline with this Cuylle call-up

Kratsov not getting accidental points seems more a function of how poorly 10-16 play together than anything else.

Agreed and im not a "points + development" guy but Krav hasnt stood out enough to be a top 9 player and doesnt have the game for the 4th line. I think a trade is becoming more possible. I wonder if a team is interested in a Krav + @EdJovanovski deal.

Two thirty year olds. I’d like to have another for the future on hand. We also could use another top 9 forward even right this instant, so, win win.
Then you draft one. Don't give up that pick to get a guy we have no room for.

A conditioning stint is not going to cure Blais’s ails. It’ll be interesting to see what the Rangers do in two weeks.

I think at this point the Rangers are just trying to do right by the guy. Regardless of the backstory with the Buch trade, the guy's career very possibly was ended by a reckless and dirty play out of his control. Hopefully they can move him to a team that can give him NHL ice time to try to find his game.

Trouba is kind of just there and isn't making a "just there" salary which is a legitimate criticism, but the idea that he's actively destroying the team is whipping boy sensationalism. (And, honestly, Harpur has been whatever for a bottom pair D).

This is what real harm looks like. You've been through it. Don't go soft on me now.

The Trouba hate on this board is very aggressive and overblown. He was bad to start the year, but he was hurt. He has been better as of late, and hopefully the nice break helps him get back to the swing of things.

I am not a fan of trading him. Fox > Trouba > Schneider can be one of the best right sides in the NHL for a number of years moving forward, especially with the cap moving up. When you got a right side like that, and 2 great guys in Lindgren and Miller that compliment well on the left, that is a recipe for success for a long time. It is also what helps get the most out of a guy like Harpur that has fit in well.

The D and goalie work, worry about the forwards. Haha

I have no clue what type of personal drama is happening with Quinn and Labanc but I'd try to get him on the cheap.

Jones for Labanc @50%

That would piss me the f*** off

Its not going to happen. Stop listening or reading people who keep saying that Drury is going to tade HIS draft choices that are doing well after being drafted. The people who continue to put Cuylle, Othmann, Berard, Sykora, BMB all in trades should be hit in the head with a tack hammer bc they are retarted.

These are the picks that drury made and wants his team to be more like,. These are the reinforcements, these are the 200 ft, in your face, pesty, 2way players that we have all been clamoring for and what Drury has constantly said we need more of.

THis is the identity of the team that HE wants.

For obvious reasons you don't send someone on a conditioning stink if you have an idea of moving this player. This tells me the front office and coaching staff still count on him to contribute at some point this season.

I'd keep Gauthier active. I can't stand Ritchie nor his face.

Stanley as the big guy would be interesting but I dont see why they would move him

Intrigued by cuylle getting the call up. Ideally I'd like to see Goodrow as the 4th line center and Kravtsov moved back up with Jake sitting but I doubt that will happen so Kravtsov is gonna be the odd man out it seems.
