All the talk about the type of players that score goals in the playoffs, DeBrusk and Bennett both forces on the ice after being the speculation of rumors forever. We need to keep the big boys that we have in Kaako and Gauthier. Letting Goat go would be stupid.

What?

Strome doesn't have grit lol. just because he dropped the gloves once doesn't mean he's gritty. He's one of our worst forwards along the walls.

He at least is willing to fight when needed and to defend himself and his teammates. Imagine if Mika did that. Mika would not even defend himself via the elbow vs Martin proved he rather take abuse and not defend himself :sarcasm: . That type of mentality needs to disappear from this organization

if gauthier stopped taking dumb penalties and battled in front of the net more I could see him being one of those guys that thrives in the playoffs. Unfortunately I think that ship may have already sailed

I'm warming up to the idea of Danault or Hertl. But it might be just because I really do not want Eichel. Both guys have risks involved, but I'd much rather gamble and lose on them, than gamble and lose even more with Eichel.

Why do some people want Brendan Smith back ? Yeah, he had a decent season, compared to the dog shit we've come to expect from him. Probably because he realized if keeps dogging it, his hockey career is over. The guy fooled the organization to give him a stupid contract with his two months of effort four years ago, then fell off a cliff, only to climb back up to try the same swindle again 3 and a half years later.

Alright I am updated from page 29 here on HF; and if the new coach can use Kakko and play him with top minutes - I can trade both Strome & Buch, but I really like Laf in that #center role.
And what kind of player which has not been mentioned here can we aqcuire for Strome & Buch concerning market value?
Strome had 49 pts. in 56 games, and Buch had almost PPG with 48 pts in 54 games total: this brief season and we are playing in the hardest division in NHL, keep that in mind!

So my stat reasons believe in Buch - I would like another look at him for a new whole full season.
My concern about Strome is that he plays Fortnite games in the summer instead working out so a bit lazy, and I`ve never been convinced about this signing at all from Oilers! Strome is 1st 5th overall at 2011, Buch is 3rd 14th pick in 2013 draft. However Buch has been much better compare to draft ranking in 2013.

If Gallant is the guy, he usually gets a player or 2 he knows like most coaches usually do.

Give me any of Reaves, Kolesar, Carrier, Tuch, Huberdeau, Barkov, McCann, Haula, James Neal (maybe a cap for cap move), McNabb (kings should have kept him)

McIlrath played for Gallant :sarcasm:

Huberdeau and Barkov? Just two of the best players in the league, NBD.

McNabb would be a great option for next season if the cost was reasonable.

But that depends on if Vegas is able to re-sign Martinez. McNabb is already their most used blueliner on the penalty kill. They do have 5/6 defensemen shooting left, however, that they may want to get better balance in that area.

McNabb would be a solid Lundkvist partner.

McNabb would be great but I feel Vegas may keep him. Solid team guy and underrated player.

Ive had a Microdiscectomy on my L5 - S1, pressed against my sciatic nerve, with spinal stenouses which is the narrowing of the spine as it connects to the sacrum. I tried EVERYTHING that the previous poster said. It did not help at all, i could barely move in bed yet alone do anything. I ended up with the surgery, it helped massively but what has helped me the past few years has been taking the weight off and eating healthy. I believe Eichel getting the surgery is fine but he should also eat right, continue to do exercises to strengthen around the disc among other things.
When there’s a stenosis, a narrowing of the pathway for the nerve, surgery is probably the only option. A lot of times discs can be revitalized with the above regimens.

The thing with Strome is he scores like a core player, but does anyone really envision winning with him in a prominent role?

He’s not a face off guy, or a defensive guy, or a physical presence. He scores and yet it never really feels like he is driving play, or setting the speed or tone of the game, or a guy you necessarily perceive as clutch.

I don’t recall ever looking at a 20 goal/60-70 point player and coming away more baffled as to how he was actually pulling it off.
which brings me back to the problem moving forward, if we see exactly as you have stated, doesn’t the rest of the league see the same? And if so, how can drury extract value, if that’s truly the case?

Canes Brock McGinn would be a solid option UFA at season ends and only 27. Drury better be in on this 2.1 cap hit this past season.

there should be quite a few options available I’m thinking around this price range gotta get 1 or 2 to change dynamic of team

Rather get the guys that are younger if possible not someone who is only here for a year or 2. Need stability with this young group. 27 29 year old not someone 35 on the retirement type of contract

Oh right but guys like Goodrow, Nosek, and more also fit. Martinook as well

Never cared for Nosek. Rather have someone who has more skill and bite Coleman would be a better option. Someone like Radek Faksa would be a better option center has bite good on faceoffs well he’d be the best one we would have :sarcasm:

Coleman is the only good signing option because that would mean he wouldn't be able to score against the Rangers all the time.

EDIT: Dude is 4-2-6 in 12 GP against the Rangers with a 21.1 SH%. Incredible.

a young rookie sticking up for his newest NHL teammate in his first game in the NHL

I hope whoever coaches this Rangers team. if you don't stick up each other, please demand a trade.

would this happened if he was a Ranger??

I just think its funny how nobody in this video will play in the NHL again.
