Pavelec would be fine for us. I'd be happy with him as the back up. I've watched him his whole career (although not much at all last season). Benny would fix him up. Hes not a bad back up by any means.

I like that he's a different kind of goalie than Hank. Gives us options, can be somewhat less predictable. Raanta and Talbot were good that way also.

he wasnt shy on his assessment of shatty either. it wasnt glowing. he pretty much said he cannot defend 5v5. he cant play defense at even strength and is a pp guy only. he isnt anything near a 1st pair rd.

gonna get 6-7 for 6 or 7. thats a given. he's the best rh pp guy out there and he's very good in that role but at even strength, he's very average.

said the devils will make the bet offer as they have the cap and the need.

Hes 29, on a friendly contact, showing no signs of decline, is an integral part of team culture, and is one of our top players.

I'm loving his ranting and raving over draisaitl offersheet rumors. If the teams in this league want to avoid the next penguin type dynasty, offersheet draisaitl now. Tie up over 1/4 of their cap in two players now. The cap isn't rising like it did for the pens, reducing the Crosby percentage of the cap. Make the lucic signing poison. Make Talbot's next contract a hard choice.

McD could potentially return a nice piece, Zucc could get something nice as well.
