Those big hits and grittiness is going to win over fans' hearts. heart/60 is something you stat nerds can't compute.
I think it makes sense to have a couple fighters on their roster. They're likely going to lose a lot, and that's one thing that will pique some fan interest.

I would have no issue if Hrivik got to compete for 4th line C, downside is Oscar had 10-12 goal upside while Hrivik maybe 3-4. Does Pirri now get brought back for even cheaper than last year? He was ok as 4th line C to start the season when Oscar was out.

Pirri has a good shot. The rest of his skills are below average for an nhl player.

Pirri? No. You want most, if not all of your 4th liners to be options on the penalty kill.

I suspect we'll see a Nathan Gerbe/Max Lapierre type signing to compete with Boo for the spot. Seems unlikely they bring in Boyle/Moore/Mitchell yet again.

Dear god, why did you have to bring up Max Lapierre? I had blocked that out of my mind.

Lindberg played 9 minutes on the PK last season.

Well, at least trading starts back up tomorrow. Should be a lot of wheeling and dealing, if not just coming from Vegas.

The biggest winner today is by far the fans, now we don't have to suffer through that ****** ****ing awards show. Up yours Bettman

Has anyone compiled a list with all the leaked players selected so far?
