It's all so tiresome
So no Shattenkirk, unless it's a short term deal and we aren't trading Stepan unless we get a top-flight RD. Well, that's interesting.
Enjoy? I would vomit if our team resembled this. Sam Reinhart sucks.
I never said he was an undersized shrimp.Manson is 6'3" 205+ lbs.
....
A foolish and severe mistake.I would trade Miller+ or Hayes+ for Manson
I am on record as vs. FransonIt's always about size with you. You would have us go after Megna, Hanzal and Franson, just because they are tall.
TIL 6'3" is regular size.![]()
Better than smaller, slower, olderYeah but "get bigger" and "get younger" and "YOUTH YOUTH YOUTH"
Bergman is RD ELC and a fit for immediate needs and from what I can so far projects as across the board okay+.I love how bernmeister doesn't want to trade Hayes for Manson because Manson is just average size (6'3" / 216 lbs) but then trades for the towering Julius Bergman (6'1" / 205 lbs) hahaha
http://nypost.com/2017/06/19/how-derek-stepan-dangle-could-evolve-into-rangers-blockbuster/
Other notes from Brooks in the article as well, including Stepan, McDonagh, Vegas picks etc...
Wait, who would say no to that deal?
Thank you for your opinion.
Reinhart will break out over this/next yr if he is in the right place to succeed.
Obviously we disagree.
I never said he was an undersized shrimp.
I'm guesstimating 6'2"-ish is avg, so he is above avg size there
But Hayes has more size at C, further above avg, and will be answer we need vs. Getlafs, Kospitars, etc
A foolish and severe mistake.
I have nothing vs Manson, just won't use that currency.
I am on record as vs. Franson
never said so, but ditto on Megna
Hanzal, a stop gap 1 yr only under these circumstances
So wrong, I would not have us go as you say I would say.
Whether you like it or not, the sports adage is USUALLY the good big man beats the good little man. Not the opposite.
Better than smaller, slower, older
....
but one would think you knew that by now.
Perhaps not.
Bergman is RD ELC and a fit for immediate needs and from what I can so far projects as across the board okay+.
His acquisition is secondary to moving Nash for SJ1st 2017 = 19OA, and massive cap relief.
He may be across the board solid enough for actual righty RD, second pair, which we will need.
I would not say no to Manson if we pay in the correct currency, and I would even reasonably overpay in that currency to get him, but he's a great shutdown D based on his strength, and that's about it. He is not across the board excellent.
I see your apparently witless hahaha and raise you

Wonder what the plan is to get that RHD we need. Just 're-signing Smith isn't enough
Only because AV is unwilling to try him shooting right-handedThat's because Smith isn't a RHDHe's a LHD playing the right side
I personally don't know that much about Dvorak, does he have the potential to be a 2C?
Only because AV is unwilling to try him shooting right-handed
He should start his articles with "Previously on HFNYR"
I have not read Brooks in a while but I agree with him about losing Grabner.
That literally made me "laugh out loud"
Stepan for OEL and then McD for Mackinnon would be a friggin COUP for the Rangers.
I would take anything Brooksie says with a big grain of salt. there is a reason he isn't well liked in the locker room
I hope, one day, we hear the details about that Stepan-altercation he had a few years ago.
I just ran the expansion draft tool on cap friendly, it's possible Vegas ends up with quite the list of defensemen.
De Haan
Dumba
Demers
Methot
McNabb
Vatanan/Manson
C Miller
TVR
Merrill
I don't remember this one...link?
Carp mentioned it in the comments of one of his blog posts, haha.It was discussed here about a year ago, but I can't remember who brought it up
