He won’t quit it with the crying. Just let him be.Please elaborate?
Legit curious how you have come to that conclusion
Yeah, I can see them acquiring a guy like Eichel first, then moving Strome. But to move Strome first would be reckless and put them in a poor negotiating posture while shopping for a replacement. Chytil is not a 2C in 2021-22.
Yeah, 5x5 would be okay. 4.5x6 would be better.Demko set the market for Igor. His agent may be trying to get a bit more but that’s the reality
if he doesn’t like it tell him to have fun playing for SKA where there’s a hard salary cap now and he’ll make even less
Well there is a ton of smoke around Eichel and NYR apparently as we've seen. Brooksie tweeting that Buffalo's ask hasnt changed. Scares me a lot.
Hard to envision a scenario where trading Buch and/or Strome makes the team better this upcoming season. I don't think the Rangers have better internal options and no one is acquiring those guys in exchange for better NHLers. It would be for futures. Do they trade those guys and then go out and acquire a guy like Eichel? That would be a blockbuster.
For those who can’t translate the Vince tweet, it means the rangers are serious on Eichel, but will wait it out today and revisit it when he gets closer to Eichel’s nMC kicking him. Hence, he won’t overpay but more then likely a serious offer has already been tenderedBy the way, that poser that Vince is replying to isn’t me.
I’m no All-Star.![]()
Coming off two partial seasons, one of which his play was uneven. Not seeing it.Yeah, 5x5 would be nice. 4.5x6 would be good too.
Not sure where Larry is coming from saying it's going to cost "at least" 6m a year. As he says, that would be the highest cap hit of any goalie in the cap era coming out of their ELC. Behind Bobrovsky and Lundqvist. Bob had 121 starts and had just won a Vezina. Lundqvist had 123 starts and was coming off two consecutive Vezina nominations and a Calder nomination. I know the cap is higher now and stuff, but the cap hits are at least comparable. Igor has proven less than both of those guys. If they're being used as comparable, it's evidence of Igor deserving less, not more.
Wouldn't Nedelkovic be the comp anyway?
It's the Rangers' front office negotiation through Brooks.Well there is a ton of smoke around Eichel and NYR apparently as we've seen. Brooksie tweeting that Buffalo's ask hasnt changed. Scares me a lot.

Price is currently too high, if they want the Rangers to pull the trigger it has to come down.
Exactly. You'd think Larry writing that out would realize that it's more proving that Igor DOESN'T deserve that type of deal more than he does.Coming off two partial seasons, one of which his play was uneven. Not seeing it.
I didn't see the follow up gif initially. Yeah, that's a pretty good guess. Not ya’ll losing your minds over buccigross tweeting the CHICAGO skyline lmfao. He’s implying Seth Jones to Chicago will get done soon

Ladd is a legit plug, and has been one for about three years now and the Isles still moved him without including a first. People still tagging the Goodrow deal would’ve been happy with the exact same roster next year. We’ll see how much Goodrow is overpaid when we’re retaining salary and adding picks to move the contract.
And they wouldn't be trading him if he didn't have the neck issue. If Eichel wasn't a bobblehead, I wouldn't have nearly as much trepidation about a trade.
