Give Igor 4.5-5 mill on a 4 or 5 year deal. He hasn’t earned anything really beyond that.

Priorities. No NHL player has had cervical disc surgery.Im honestly not overly worried about his neck. Im more worried at the chance of losing zibanejad
I’ll see you at the wailing and the gnashing of the teeth to comeSome fans must take to doom and gloom path at all times.

Or that DeAngelo is an afterthought at this pointThis is too good, it was like he realized he forgot to write about it because he was busy copy/pasting a text from Drury into a tweet
Well Trouba was signed before a pandemic flattened the cap so that’s a legit excuse. But yeah, where does it end? It does all add up in the end.Pandoras Box has been opened.
If Goodrow is worth $3.6M for 6... what's Shesty worth?
Pay Trouba $8M... what's Fox worth?
That is still incredibly significant commitment to a guy w a lot of potential who's been around as long at Jim Carey (not saying he's Jim Carey)Give Igor 4.5-5 mill on a 4 or 5 year deal. He hasn’t earned anything really beyond that.
How is Eichel even getting traded today without any team seeing his medical record? I think that boat has sailed already.
Players get traded all the time w medicals exchanged day of. Everyone knows what the issues are, it's not a secret at this point. He doesn't need to be diagnosed, it would just be a review of what we know. How is Eichel even getting traded today without any team seeing his medical record? I think that boat has sailed already.
Yeah I mean it is. I just feel like both sides would be trying to avoid a 2 year bridge here. Both will want a little bit of security and stability. That is still incredibly significant commitment to a guy w a lot of potential who's been around as long at Jim Carey (not saying he's Jim Carey)

anyway he absolutely has but his injuries and starts and stops because of them do not warrant a 6 mil a year commitment. No way. 5x5 IMO was more than fair. Actually a lot of faith from NYR in even offering that. 6 mil? That’s not ok. He’s got more to prove
Well you really have two choices. Give him a 1 year show me deal or make a 4 or 5 year deal. the player isn't doing 4 or 5 years at a discount bc if he really establishes himself he's losing money, so that's the risk the team takes.Yeah I mean it is. I mean Eichel’s situation is a bit different. Idk if Rangers doctors would wanna give their determination in a matter of hours whether to make a deal or not.Players get traded all the time w medicals exchanged day of. Not likely. I rarely assume the worst. The oly move that I trashed early and often was signing Jack Johnson, but that was a no brainer. I don't worry endlessly about cap issues because the team generally works that out, I generally trust the professionals over whiny fans.I’ll see you at the wailing and the gnashing of the teeth to come
