brings a power forward in the top 6, something this team needs more off. he is good along the boards. enough of this finesse skill in the top 6.

I feel like this is just a blatant misunderstanding of what this team currently has in their stables lol.

If you want guys who are good along the walls, we have a pretty good amount of it now.

Seravalli had it.

He seems pretty tight with DeAngelo so maybe that was his source... or the fact that he punched DeAngelo was enough to come to that conclusion.

Him punching DeAngelo doesn't necessarily equate to Georgiev "not liked in the locker room." Seems there's more there. But I don't know what to make of that tweet without others corroborating it. I'm just wondering aloud whether teams in the league might be inclined to believe that maybe the incident that got Tony thrown out of this organization wasn't entirely his doing. Maybe they're interested in hearing his side, if they're interested in signing him.

Whole lotta "I'd gladly take Landeskog at the numbers he's turning down from Colorado" in here. Wild that people still think top names will sign for bargain rates on the open market.

Wow I missed a ton on here, you all been busy today. Some of my thoughts for today:

Im happy for TDA & Canes, I think he deserved 1 more chance. But he sure as shit better make it worth it. This is clearly his last straw. A very thin one at that.

I can't see anyone offersheet Pettersson but id love to see that somehow happen.

I won't even allow myself to hope for Landeskog to come here. I just can't see it.

Doesn't look like Suter is coming here. Ah well.

Flyers with another move. Fletcher been damn busy wow.

I think there were some rumblings at the time that Georgiev and DeAngelo weren't the best of friends going back to the AHL days even, but I don't recall the details

I think we are all on agreement that the surplus of wingers on the team forced Drury to trade Buchnevich. I apologize if that is an assumption for the ones who wanted to keep Buch.

What would have been an acceptable trade for Buchnevich and is there anyone (some of the insiders here) know if a team was offering a better trade?

Would think that takes them out of the Coleman race.

A couple weeks ago I was reading on their board curious about Coleman. They didn't even seem like fitting him was a possibility even with a discount. Surprised me.

I think Carolina is a good fit for Tony D, Rod the Bod is a straight shooter if Tony acts out Rod will straighten him out or his ass will be out of the league.

Impossible. I was told that's a done deal.

I can understand why that narrative was thrown around to be fair. 2 cups and a possibility to be with his home town? Id almost take league minimum at that point. But if he wants to be paid still yeah. Not seeming likely.

I can't remember who tweeted it, but there was a tweet purporting that Georgiev isn't the greatest teaammate.
Wouldn't surprise me. I'm sure Tony was being a prick but Georgie really got let off the hook from mostly everyone (fans and media) considering he punched a teammate in the face. He was definitely somewhat responsible for the incident (it's not an incident worth any kind of note at all if they just have an argument that doesn't come to blows) and got treated by the media like an innocent child and Tony lost his spot on the team as a result. Can definitely see that not sitting well with some players in the room.

Not to mention he's a total headcase.
