Not even close to enough. I hope we realize building like the oilers is not the way to go. I mean now that have a few decent support forwards but basically it’s the Leon and Connor show

Pelech is the better player. Nurse had a career abnormal year for him this past season and got paid for it. Decent chance that contract looks pretty mediocre real soon

The Pelech extension is a superb deal and I'd take him over Nurse all day long..

The only issue with the pelech extension is he's going to be 34 at the end of it but considering the cap hit, even if he takes a heavy age related dive, its still a good deal.

Pelech deal is risky. He’s one dimensional. If he loses a step then it becomes a disaster. We’ve seen this plenty of time with purely defensive defenseman before. You can deal with a top forward declining because it’s easier to hide them and they generally can still remain productive on a PP but dmen don’t have that buffer
