If that happens, Drouin's contract can be fully buried in the minors. And Colton scored 22 goals 2 years ago (16 last year). He can move up and provide some offense if needed.
True but if Colton moves up to top 2 lines then the bottom 6 depth isn’t good. A lot riding on Drouin, or they have to make a trade at the deadline by moving a roster player for a legit top 6 winger and I’m not sure if that’s possible. Hopefully Drouin experiment works out

Potentially missing a top 6 winger if Drouin doesn’t pan out. There is a chance he does. I’d say right now it’s 50/50
The thing that worries me the most about Drouin is that I have no idea how good is good enough to stick around on Nate's wing. I'm going to assume that since we are discussing Drouin, he's there for point production primarily. What point production is the magic number where he's beneficial to the team? Would outpacing Lehky be enough? I mean, he's not going to be providing that defense from what I understand.

yah I think Colton is capable of 25 goals if given the opportunity which I think he will have in Denver. Bedsy going to love this kids game and you know how much Bedsy rewards hard work.

I think if Drouin scores at minimum 50 points, it’s pretty good. You get 50 from him, 50 to 60 from Lehky, 60 to 70 from Val, 60 from RyJo, and we know MacK and Mikko gonna do their thing.

That’s a pretty good production from the top 6

If we’re expecting Drouin to produce at a 65+ point pace for 825k, I think many of you are going to be disappointed.

Hope for it. But to expect? That’s wholly unreasonable.

If Drouin gets 50 points that would be a massive massive win for the Avs.

I'll guess 4x4.
