completely gut the teams future moving forward for 2 pending RFA's to a team that cannot get out of the 1st round. Brilliant!!!

I don't care about the past, it's the past nothing I can do about it so why live in it?

I care about Today and Today the Leafs are 3 points back of 1st overall in the NHL.

I would do like a 1st and any prospect not named Knies along with another conditional pick based off how we do in the playoffs for O'Rielly. I don't think emptying the prospect cupboards to add both ROR and Tank is smart or needed.

The Leafs have been in similar position in the past. Another 24 hour post playoff loss and you people can’t figure it out! You need some damn sandpaper to toughen up your balsa wood!

Or burn through yet another coach

But you're the one living in the past with wanting to give up the farm for O'Reilly and Tank. Now I do think Tank is just the type of player they should target but not at any cost.

I'm not the one bringing up last season, like it matters.

I'm focused on this year and this year they are 3 points back of 1st overall in the NHL this is the time to go for it.

I don't care how that went for Florida that's the past that has nothing to do with the Leafs

Worst thing Dubas can do it through a 1st away for a rental that is over the hill. ROR's best hockey is behind him but he'll still land a premium package because of his name, if someone wants to gamble that he can turn the clock back go ahead, I hope as a Leafs fan it isn't Toronto.

Dubas should be looking for a Nick Paul type deal add something quality to the bottom six. If the Leafs want to put together a package with a 1st they need a defenseman.

No disrespect to ROR's career, he's a beast but there is clearly a lot of miles on that body. Like Toews, no thank you to pay through the teeth for him in 2022.

This is leaf fan mentality. Try living amongst them, it’s brutal but hilarious at the same time. But hey they got “respect” at the hand shake line last year

Listen, as a Leaf fan let me tell you that was the most Pathetic thing I have ever heard a coach say and I would have fired him about 3 seconds after he said it.

People say Toronto needs a top 6 winger and they aren't wrong that's why if they went out and got Tank from the Blues you wouldn't see me complain one bit the thought of Tank with Matthews and Marner or Matthews and Nylander is something that would be fun to watch.

That being said if the Leafs are going to pay the big price for a Blue, as fun as Tank would be and make no mistake I would be all for it.

ROR kills 2 birds with 1 stone.

ROR could be the #2 center on the Leafs and it allow them to move Tavares to the wing and solve the wing issue.

It would allow the Leafs a ton of options.

They could run Tavares Matthews Marner

Or Tavares Matthews Nylander

Or Tavares ROR Marner

and then If you ever needed to you could always run a 3 headed monster of Matthews Tavares ROR down the middle should the situation call for It during a game.

I think ROR is the guy to target because it creates so many options.

Grammar is your friend, use it.

Oh brother.. Boston sounds to be making a push for ROR. Checking on my sources to see early discussions of who..

In the last 5 games, it appears as though he’s been on the ice for three goals for, and eleven against 5v5. To what degree is this a reflection on the team vs his play?

I think when the goaltender has an 889 save% I think at that point you have reached a pointbeyond team play at that point the goalie just sucks.

I feel that way about anything below 900 but an 889 save% is borderline not useable
