I expect some will get on board with Reinbacher but Not sure it will happen at the same level with Reinbacher because even if he wasn’t the pick expectations are higher. Guys like Beck, Mesar werù7en’t center stage day 1 but outplayed or outshine bigger name on top of having low expectations not sure Reinbacher can blow expectations and outplay everyone while being the guy everyone is looking at…
He doesn't have to blow expectations off for me but what I want to see is that the ceiling is definitely there for him to be a no.1D, in time. So he doesn't need to show Quinn Hughes offense, but if he can't hit a pass or carry the puck or if he does have a Mete level shot, then I'm not happy.

Ottawa is blowing Jersey out of the water with 4 unanswered goals in the second. The level of goaltending at one end is far superior to the goaltending at the other end. I don't see too many playmakers up front for Jersey. Ridly Greig started taking over. Misyul took a late run at him and ending up fighting Stewart who was already pissed at him. :laugh:

People talking about wanting Shane Pinto give me Greig instead.

Mesar was the flavour of camp last year...

This year, not so much huh?

All the more reason as to why we should just enjoy these rookie tournaments and not read too much into them.

But I digress.
It’s worth noting He did start like gangbusters with Kitchener though. Kitchener/Hab fan came on here saying he started out like an absolute stud. Even went as far as to say he looked like the best player in the OHL if I remember correctly.

He’s really talented. He needs to get his game back. I’d be shocked if he does it with Laval this year. I hope he looks vastly improved. If he becomes relevant again it’s a huge boost to our forward prospect pool

Yeah I remember, but again, just serves as a reminder of how volatile development is for most prospects, in the first few years following their draft.

Toure looked very decent for an undrafted D but all in all it was the experienced older guys who showed up to play.

Slaf is having 1 on 1 mentorship with David Desharnais.

Now that it's cleared up stop fighting and enjoy the game.

You don't get it, do you? It's not a debate, it's a CBA-related legal definition.
@Bombshell11

Like he said, no one in this thread is disagreeing with you. No one is arguing Slaf shouldn't be there, it's that he can't. It's not a Montreal Canadiens decision, it's that having played 39 games in the NHL last year disqualifies him from attending this event.
