Yeah, I dunno, considering we won the prior 5 and won't win every game, I actually enjoyed the game and thought it was decent hockey to watch.

See here's the problem, you can't say oh well they played hard just came up short, next game. No **** that, Calgary sucks, you're in a tight playoff race you HAVE to come away with 2 points. This road trip is where everyone said oh easy wins except for Colorado. How many times now have they given games away or not at least gotten a point out of it? We complain about other teams and the loser point but in reality we have only ourselves to blame.

I'm sorry, I just didn't see it. He played good games. He played plenty of poor games too. Even the most objective Ranger fans will tell you that Callahan wasn't Callahan this season. You pointed out five or six games, in his 50+ games with the team this season. That's not exactly a selling point. I get what your saying. But for every game he busted his ass, he took a night off or was a complete non-factor for a game. He had too many games this season where he was a complete non-factor.

He wasn't the same player this season. I'm sorry, I've always been a fan of him, but I can objectively say I don't think he was the same player he was even a year ago (and I thought last season he left something to be desired too).

When he had 3 injuries to deal with, it would slow anyone down. Everytime he came back and get into a groove he would get hurt again, just fluke injuries I don't see happening in the future. He has 13 points (6 G , 7 A) in the last 17 games. So to say his last 20 games were solid is very acurate. But it also was the longest stretch between his last injury.

One person here doesn't have the memory of a goldfish. The fact that Callahan is playing great in Tampa pisses me off more than anything as he dogged most of this season.

dogged this season? Please see above.

Yes, you may need to. Maybe down to the Tampa Bay Times Forum. All you've posted about since the trade is Ryan Callahan. That's all you talk about here. I go to the Tampa Bay forum to see how they like Cally and you're more active in their threads than any Lightning fan is, posting about how awesome Cally is and as if you're a fan of the Lightning now. So if you think you need to walk away, maybe you should RUN. It clearly seems like you're already leaning that way.

Thanks for your observation. Nice to see I have a stalker. :sarcasm:

And Edmonton beat the Ducks last night. We are gonna catch both crappy western teams on the upswing.

Rongos pls.

These teams that are out of a playoff spot have no pressure except their own stats. So they are going to still drive hard, and still try to rack in a lot of points but there is no pressure to get a win because it won't do anything except give them a win.

Rangers have been a little lucky with these last games winning, Smith gets hurt in the last 3 mins of the Phoenix game, Ottawa's starting goalie is hurt and their back up is horrible so Rangers cashed in, they faced a tired Flyers team, so were lucky with that. I think the only solid game they really played was against Colombus and maybe NJ.

It sucks but its one loss. They weren't going to win out the season. They should beat Edmonton but good teams have had trouble there this year (Sharks, Ducks each lost there). Hopefully they're just not bad on road trips outside the eastern & central time zones.

They lost after winning 5 in a row. **** happens. I don't like it and they should have won, but I've already moved on. No team is easy to beat in this league.

Only saw the brief highlights on NHL.com. Was the defense so porous all night? The highlight reel looked like a montage of Giordano being wide open in the slot. Yikes.

That Cammalleri goal  all around. Hard to get on Hank for that one after his performances of late, but that's as bad as bad gets.

Hey, Marty, you alive?
