Watching the game now...wtf is up with these refs? How can anybody look at this game and not feel like these guys are corrupt? No calls on blatant infractions like Nash trip by J Staal, Liles spear on Boyle, Richards slash by Eric, Hags hooked going to the followed by a little hook call on MZA...so aggravating. And then there's the stolen goal in the 1st period. I wish some ex player who doesn't give a **** about being slandered by the equally corrupt media would come out and say that there is just too much in game jumpsuit bias from the refs. /rant

Did Kreider get injured early in the 3rd, just rewatched it there and he hobbled off only to come back on and take a penalty for handbags?

So the refs were good because they didn't blow two objective calls?

Yes, Delay Of Game calls are NOT subject to the referee's standpoint/discretion like most other penalties are... Puck gets shot up before the red line, and up over the glass with no deflection on the boards and it's a penalty...

However I'm more upset about the Zucc penalty that they gave out (although we scored a shorty on it, so it's all good)... Zucc was NOT holding the stick, and it came out literally 1-2 seconds after the stick initially had gone up in Zucc's arms, then the ref calls it a penalty. The call on Boyle was BS too... Elbow? maybe, but quite frankly that guy that he hit STUCK his head into the boards, coupled with the fact that Boyle is 6'7"... Refs NEED to take that into account when they are giving out penalties.

i just didnt see much to get me riled up about the reffing.

could be i had the carolina feed, and they didnt show many replays after the fact on the penalties.

the calls i saw called were all pretty acceptable calls.

Back to back games he was benched in the 3rd, and the team finally scores. I don't think Kreider plays with a sense of urgency that the team needs from him.

AV needs the wins, and he benches the guy that is floating out there for shifts.

For the "fastest player" in the league, I hardly ever notice his speed or hustle.

Haven't noticed it for more than a month now. He's a man now, 5 years removed from his draft year, we can all start treating him like a man instead of an innocent little prospect.

Hell yeah!

Kreider needs another wake up call, I'd send him to the minors to cut in on his pay check and give a kid who shows up every shift.

Complacency is Kreider's issue. Team needs wins and he isn't playing with the same level of hunger he was when he got sent down earlier this year.

Really? The blatant spear by Liles into Boyle when he went to the box? The slash on Richards? The trip on MSL right as he was trying to break out...in front of the ref? Again, if those are not being called, fine, but then don't call the ticky-tack crap in the same game.

I am bothered by the fact that our $8.5 million a year goalie is being outplayed night after night by other goalies making 4+M less than him. Not bothered when he makes a save. Saving pucks is in his contract or maybe it should be and that would explain why he has stopped doing that.

The league is lining up to take penalty shots on this guy; it's a friggin' joke for how much of our cap is being eaten up by Hank. He better pick it up!

It's worse that he's not on it yet and in my opinion, is even more relevant in poor performances.

1) You're right, but how many times this year have we expected Hank to make "that" save during the game and he hasn't. Not to mention, back to back games, back to back penalty shots and he really was beaten cleanly on both. He used to be "the king" at breakaways, this year he looks like a "joker."

B) Yea, and he's not earning that extension this year, that's for sure. Still happy we gave it to him, but I understand angry fans.

C) When have the Rangers EVER had Hank on a sweet deal, outside of his first 2 years in the league? The last "decade" or if you look at his last "6" years, he has been the highest paid goalie nearly every season. When he was FINALLY paid more this year, he gets an extension to out do that.

Again, I love the guy, am happy with the extension, but for God's sake, he has not been on any ****ing discount almost EVER. He has been the king and paid as such almost since he stepped on our ice.
