What we do in hockey echoes in eternity...
If he stays healthy, he should be a mainstay in the top 9. He's been through hell and deserves some good luck.
He looks like he is finally listening to the coaches who told him to make use of the other players on the line. He used to be a 1-trick pony when he tried to just load up his wrist shot from practically anywhere. Give and go seems to be working out much better for him and he still get's nice looks. I just hope he can stay healthy.I've always believed in his raw talent and work ethic... his decision-making is what has been impressive this season so far.
He is looking like an NHLer and a good one.
I do think it’ll improve over time, hopefully before he gets hurt again. He’s playing so well, and has dealt with so many injuries, would be huge for him to be able to stay healthy for awhile.I think this will come. We have to recognize he’s still young. He’s only 20/21? Covid and the 2 following seasons really impacted his play. We just need to let him grow but he’s slowly getting there!

That Cole hit last night for example, he actually did have his head up and must’ve seen him coming, but just sort of … didn’t react?

Honestly sometimes it's best to take it full on then let an individual part of your body take the blow.I do think it’ll improve over time, hopefully before he gets hurt again. He’s playing so well, and has dealt with so many injuries, would be huge for him to be able to stay healthy for awhile.

He also doesn't have the name value of a number of players on that list. I'd actually settle for him having a secure spot in the lineup right now over moving him up in it.These guys play against the top lines for the most part Robertson plays against the third. He might be able to produce more in the top 6 or not. We don’t know till we try.
And he's out of the lineup tomorrow again for a stiff who's done absolutely nothing so far.So who is trading those guys for him?
I’m a big Robertson fan but I do agree he’s been struggling with breaking the puck out and lots of giveaways. Not the worst thing in the world for him to sit a few games. And he's out of the lineup tomorrow again for a stiff who's done absolutely nothing so far.
One game sure. But his replacement did squat and his center man played a season low last game, so where's the upside to another benching? The third line was nothing last game, get the kid back in.I’m a big Robertson fan but I do agree he’s been struggling with breaking the puck out and lots of giveaways. Agreed plus Domi gives up the puck just as much as Robertson. I’m fine with Robertson getting scratched if players that commit the same fouls also sit.One game sure.
