The only Leafs that cared and would had done something was Domi, as I am 100% sure he would had smashed Greig if Reilly didn't by how fast he reacted and was in the scrum compared to the others

I really hope the impact of what Reilly did(standing up) will be a wake up call to our 11mil boys that, we need to play with more pride and stop letting other teams push us around.

To me, it should not be Reilly should not done this, or Reilly would not had done it if it was Wilson...but rather Reilly did the right and correct thing, he should had execute it better, like drop the gloves instead of cross check and cross check to the lower back instead of shoulder....

I like that Mo responded, that needed a response. However, I would’ve liked to see a response that’s less of an obvious long suspension - we need Mo in the lineup!

For example, I would’ve liked to see a crosscheck lower down, well away from the head, then drop the gloves and pound him. He would’ve got a 1 game suspension for instigating a fight in the last 5 mins, but that’s way less than he’ll get for a crosscheck with head contact (even if initial contact was to the shoulder).

This is a pattern for the Leafs - somewhat soft most of the time, but when we do respond, it’s with things like crosschecks and elbows targeting the head, that are just no brainer suspensions. Gotta learn to walk the line better, send messages in ways that are just penalties, fines or 1 game sussies.

I know many ppl think it’s anti-Leafs bias, but IMO it’s more the way we respond. Teams like Boston are much better at walking the line, frequently doing dirty stuff that’s not quite suspension level dirty, we need to learn some of that.

The persons saying he should be arrested is obvious trolling. Now if I were to do some obvious trolling and say Grieg should have received 2 minutes for diving and Mo, 2 minutes for roughing - and that's all - I'd likely get a thread ban. The site needs some parity in moderation tactics on the mains, that's for sure.

Maybe the Leafs can rally around this, when was it that Mo was out with an injury for a good month, last year or two years ago, and they actually played great defensively.

The forwards would really have to step up and be much more responsible and so would the goaltending, because we just dont have the depth on D.

I have absolutely zero issue with what Rielly did. I also have zero issues with Kadri and Bunting and wish MLSE would have rallied around them rather than discard loyal soldiers like disposable garbage. How this organization responds to Rielly will make or break this core in my opinion.

This team has been battered and abused and whenever they decide to fight back they get punished disproportionately by the system. Embrace being the villain.
