At least I hope it’s veal

Or Fingers if you were feeling fancy, lol.Anybody remember Chi Chi's at Polo Park in the 80's? It was a pre-Bomber game staple (and our RRCC college gang used to hang out there after class).
How has no one mentioned Bistro Dansk? Amazing food, super cozy.
Also I will second Olympia Diner.
Apparently there are still a few dozen of them in the U.S. and 100's is Asia. And Shakey's is huge in the Philippines! I was just there last fall and we had some. It was pretty good!
I really like the Ichi Ban for sushi and Sake in Selkirk also has great sushi.I'm from Brandon, so I gotta give a shout out to Pizza Express, best pasta in the world. Plus Joe Beeverz poutine.
However in Winnipeg, what foods are we talking? No better pizza than Tony's, and that's a legitimate fact that one can't argue. Magic Sushi on Panet. Most food from The Old Spaghetti Factory! Baked Expectations. Nicks Inn. Depends on my mood for food!
NopeRestaurants, Motorcycles, Geeks, Fishing, Travel - all decent and interesting threads but all currenyly in the top dozen threads on hfjets.
Is that how uninspired this hockey season has become for us Jets fans?
Your quote caught my post before the Grubees edit. Grubees was great. I used to ride my bike to Grubees on Pembina Hwy to grab a Grubee Burger. I think they shut down when I was like 14.Nope
dammit. I went thru all 10 pages to make sure and somehow missed it...Correct, nobody has mentioned Bistro Dansk.

I love Carlos and Murphy's. Amazing soups and one of my favorite wings in the city.Best nachos in the city (at least when I was a regular in the mid to late 90's) Carlos and Murphy's. I liked it cuz it was one of the few lounges open on a Sunday in those days and I lived walking distance.
Mitzi’s
Simply phenomenal a restaurant can survive and thrive for so long selling pretty much only chicken fingers, fries and consommé soup.
Here's a link for anyone looking to take a stroll down restaurant memory lane.

WAitress at Bistro Dansk used to goose me up something fierce. Pizza land on portage by the moray bridge makes a decent pie for cheap. You guys remember Nibblers nosh?
Now there's a topic.I love Carlos and Murphy's. Amazing soups and one of my favorite wings in the city.
A Little Pizza Heaven is really good. Im still partial to Gondola and Niakwa.
Anybody remember Chi Chi's at Polo Park in the 80's? It was a pre-Bomber game staple (and our RRCC college gang used to hang out there after class).
Went to Chi Chi's before every Jets game.
