Hope not a concussion for Trouba. maybe it’s a broken jaw and we’ll get another bubble boy to replace Vesey
Yeah, Jimmy 1.0 was stapled to the top 6 (often over Buchnevich) and basically every game all he did was get tunnel vision and try and skate through everyone. He almost never made the right play with the puck back then, he was such an incredibly frustrating player to watch. He could not complete a simple 2 ft pass back then. Totally different player. IMO won’t happen here but I think this version of him is probably a guy that could be a solid top 6 player for someone. A third liner on a great team.
ALS? What the hell? He's a 38 year old dude in his 19th NHL season who has played his entire career like a wrecking ball and relied on his physicality, I think we can safely assume this is father time starting to creep up on him and not a rare degenerative disorder.I hope it’s just a case of a player not being able to do what he always had been.
I hope it’s a case of the player just not being able to do what he once did due to age.
I hope it isn’t a case of some sickness like ALS.
I do not want to speculate, but he wasn’t doing anything like he used to. He was half his speed and had nothing on his shot. He wasn’t hitting or driving any offense. He didn’t look “right”.
Rangers completely dominated the last 30 minutes.
Men vs. boys.

Hm.
Maybe Ovechkin won't break the record. Never assumed that if he slowed it might be immediate.
I missed the game too while I was out having dinner...didn't realize it was in honor of your birthday!I didn't see the game. I was out at my birthday dinner. I'm so happy they won tonight for me!! LOL!! LGR!!!
Lindgren bleeding was the turning point of the game
Butch crying in his helmet no doubtLOL. Pens beat the Piles 7-0.
I honestly thought he would break the record, but he looks absolutely done this season.Ovechkin should just call it quits.
Seen a lot of the great ones in their final season, Esposito, Dionne, etc…
When the hands can’t do what the brain is telling them, it’s over.
Thank you!I missed the game too while I was out having dinner...didn't realize it was in honor of your birthday!
Happy Birthday!
Hope you had an enjoyable celebration.I didn't see the game. I was out at my birthday dinner. I'm so happy they won tonight for me!! LOL!! LGR!!!
Only saw the one replay. I wouldn't say he looked dazed. But he definitely looked like he knew something was up. Kind of disengaged in his skating and posture after the hit as he headed pretty much straight to the bench.Wonder if he broke a bone. Did he look dazed or was it more like he knew something broke?

Possibly but I’m not too worried about that. My main concern is tripping the motion activated light switxhes in here.Did Dolan take your picture?
Funny enough they looked better as soon as Trouba went down.I just saw the goals and they pretty much were all soft. Did we play well or just take advantage of Kuempfer?
Trust the template. The Rangers inability to break up Lindgren and Fox astounds me but this is the same team that brought you hits such as Panarin/Strome and Mika/Kreider so I guess that tracks
Made me hysterical when people were dissing Mika the first 15 games or so.Also: Mika is now over a point per game. Must be doing well these days; talk about a slow start.
Also, the 4th line kinda kicked ass tonight.
I love Jimmy Vesey.
Probably because Kreider would downplay it himself just like he did when he moved past Gravy in goals.Chris Kreider moves into 10th all time on the Rangers scoring list and not a word about it on the telecast. All over Mika's 800th game though.
