He could not complete a simple 2 ft pass back then. Totally different player. IMO won’t happen here but I think this version of him is probably a guy that could be a solid top 6 player for someone. A third liner on a great team.
Yeah, Jimmy 1.0 was stapled to the top 6 (often over Buchnevich) and basically every game all he did was get tunnel vision and try and skate through everyone. He almost never made the right play with the puck back then, he was such an incredibly frustrating player to watch.

I hope it’s just a case of a player not being able to do what he always had been.

I hope it’s a case of the player just not being able to do what he once did due to age.

I hope it isn’t a case of some sickness like ALS.

I do not want to speculate, but he wasn’t doing anything like he used to. He was half his speed and had nothing on his shot. He wasn’t hitting or driving any offense. He didn’t look “right”.

Rangers completely dominated the last 30 minutes.
Men vs. boys.
ALS? What the hell? He's a 38 year old dude in his 19th NHL season who has played his entire career like a wrecking ball and relied on his physicality, I think we can safely assume this is father time starting to creep up on him and not a rare degenerative disorder.

That Caps team can defend a decent amount but they are terrible. Wilson tries to get things going but the roster is apathetic. Ovi is sad Backy not there to pass him puck

Lindgren bleeding was the turning point of the game

Wonder if he broke a bone. Did he look dazed or was it more like he knew something broke?
Only saw the one replay. I wouldn't say he looked dazed. But he definitely looked like he knew something was up. Kind of disengaged in his skating and posture after the hit as he headed pretty much straight to the bench.

Did Dolan take your picture?
Possibly but I’m not too worried about that. My main concern is tripping the motion activated light switxhes in here.

Once the cleaners leave I plan to relocate my workspace from the handicapped stall to a standing desk at the Koala changing station.

Remember when Hendrix Lapierre scored against us in his first game as a 19 year old and all the donks were so bitter that we passed on him in the drat?!?!? We needed a center!!!

The Rangers inability to break up Lindgren and Fox astounds me but this is the same team that brought you hits such as Panarin/Strome and Mika/Kreider so I guess that tracks
Trust the template.

Coach Carbs is cised for our D corps. Didn't mention anything about the pairs being broken.
