If you’ve watched Igor’s last what 4 games now? Buffalo was a bit iffy to start but then he basically willed us to a win… if you’ve watched his last 4 games it’s easy to see why guys like me are so disappointed when he plays 15 20 games like he did. Absolute nonsense when he’s capable of being THIS guy.

If he gets to his level he’s our best player. He hasn’t been all year.

The second act of Jimmy in NY has been something to behold. Pretty ironic bc by the time we traded him to Buffalo I think most of us were like “good riddance” because of his usage, myself included.

Him reinventing himself as a bottom six depth guy has been great to watch. He’s an absolutely elite 4th liner and he can really plug in anywhere in the lineup.

Jimmy Vesey is at this point a well rounded 2nd liner that's stapled to the 4th line because it works. Best "4th liner" we've had since rookie Carl Hagelin played there his first handful of NHL games.

Early in the second the Caps made a bank play off a dump off the end boards and Wilson and Trouba raced for it and as Wilson shot the puck Trouba took his elbow to the face/side of the head. Incidental contact but f*** Wilson anyway.

I’d say that looked like Wilson took the opportunity to toss a cheap elbow. But also it didn’t look terribly serious. I get upset by Wilson’s predatory stuff but this wasn’t that. Hopefully Trouba sitting most of the game was precautionary.

The management team (me) has also elected to ban Kaapo Kakko from the poll due to general annoyance.

He wasn't gonna be in the poll anyway since he didn't play, but the ban still counts.

Mr. Kakko will serve a two-game ban.

No, I realized that excessive network activity overnight might arouse the suspicions of MSG security and thought better of it.

Fortunately , since we occasionally contract with the gov’t we are able to receive reimbursement for expenses incurred when WiFi isn’t available and technically this would count as such.

He could not complete a simple 2 ft pass back then. Totally different player. IMO won’t happen here but I think this version of him is probably a guy that could be a solid top 6 player for someone. A third liner on a great team.
