It 100% was.I think it was the Rempe goal that was disallowed.

Oh man you go Brancy.Lol who are they gesturing at, a drunk Blues fan?
Devils fan with a Deb’s jersey
hey that's how the Islanders got to the ECF in the 2021 playoffs. Sent Clutterbuck and Martin to destroy opposing d.Remps coming in hot on the forecheck
The schedule sucks for that game, we play the night before here and have to travel to play there the next night in Carolina and they play home on Sunday so they're home and waiting for us albeit 3 in 4 for them. Hopefully we show up that night because that looks like it could be schedule loss.vvNever know though around the deadline. There’s unfortunately going to be a schedule loss or two in there. I just hope it’s not against Carolina.
Who are these 2 offensive centers you speak of?Here’s another thing that almost sounds blasphemous to say. Because I love chytil. Wennberg is more the prototypical third line two way center you kind of want behind your two offensive centers when building your team out. Brooks been saying this forever but if Chytil isn’t your 2C and gets dropped to the third line he doesn’t fit. So with Trocheck doing what he’s doing, wennberg is a great fit behind our guys if chytil can’t be here in the 2C spot he was supposed to have
Captain in name only, everyone knows the real captain is RempeThe anti Trouba sentiment is snowballing. Wild shit. The guy is the captain of the team and we all hate him.
Gonna be very interesting to see if Drury has the balls and is able to move him this offseason. That’s a lot of money to play with.
second line on the hot seatI don't want to get too ahead of myself but I'm REALLY liking our bottom 6 now and even the first line looks like a factor with Roslovic.
Dead on. Fitzgerald traded for MacDermid right after the Rangers man-handled his team. Rempe has nothing to prove by fighting MacDermid.Nice win. Congrats to Igor for his shutout.
If the Rangers do plan on moving bottom liners in and out of the lineup the next one against NJ might be a good one to scratch Rempe. Matthew played pretty well tonight....nearly scoring again. I was just thinking though it would be a laugh against the Devils who traded for MacDermid just because of the havoc Rempe caused in the last one and Kurtis won't likely be a factor at all except negatively if Matthew sits the next one out. So far in 3 games Kurtis has gotten a whopping 13 minutes total ice time combined and put his team on the penalty kill 3 separate times. Why fight the guy.....just let him put us on the power play if that's what they want.
He’s a great leader and good PKer and physical which is great, but the 5v5 play obviously is disappointing. He dug his own grave in my book by holding out for the top dollar contract. You have to deliver the goods after doing that. The anti Trouba sentiment is snowballing. Wild shit. The guy is the captain of the team and we all hate him.

not to take away from the game we played, but St Louis looked brutal tonight.
They really did.not to take away from the game we played, but St Louis looked brutal tonight.
It's too bad Jones isn't a few inches taller. Really like the kid but it's obvious he will never get a chance here. I am surprised a team with a ton of picks like Arizona wouldn't trade a 2nd or couple of thirds for him.
seriously... how much better would we be with another top4LHD to play with Fox and KAM Schneider?
Any suggestions?
Wennberg is a good support player no matter who he’s with. He can do a lot of things.Great win! This was what we expect when a good team is playing a bad team. We even spent a good amount of time in the third period on the attack instead of defending.
Shesterkin is looking like he has found his game. I thought we were definitely giving up a goal because (1) we always do and (2) it would give Vesey yet another GWG, but I was pleasantly surprised that we held on to the shutout.
Roslovic looks like he could be a good addition. He needs a bit more time to gel. I was more impressed with Wennberg and his hockey IQ. He set up some scoring chances, looked good on the PK (despite his previous poor PK metrics), and made good defensive plays all over the ice, including preventing a breakaway opportunity early in the third period.
