Bad call by the refs
Bad calls are when the Refs make the wrong calls. This one was a good one. You can check it yourself from the rulebook that this was a good one.

The word "principle" hasnt been in the rule for over a decade now. It now says main point of contact precisely because it doesnt matter what comes first, but where the force is. Not that it matters here, he left his feet despite being WAY taller than the player, extends the arm, is entirely in the numbers, has enough room to avoid hitting in the numbers since he lined it up pretty early (as others have mentioned). He has a massive rap sheet for a guy who has played a couple weeks of NHL hockey total... guy should get a repeat offender suspension for intent to injure and really shouldnt be in the league. Can you post a screenshot of an elbow hitting a head? Im not even asking for principle point of contact which is the back. Wont hold my breathe.

Clean hit. Heiskanen faked an injury in a game that was already lost. If Rempe was 3 inches shorter, play on.
Disappointing how soft the league has become.
And I don't know what's worse. Someone who does this on purpose or someone so dumb and out of control that he doesn't know what he's doing.Doesn't look malicious. Just looks really, really dumb
Torres always laid out a lot of borderline hits.Raffi Torres didnt get suspended til his 11th season in the league. He hit hard but he didnt hit dirty until he slowed down and started catching guys late. Rempe came into the league dirty. been ejected from a fifth of ALL his games played and suspended already. Guy shouldnt be in the league, throw the book at him.
That’s definitely where he belongsThought this dude was in The ECHL
no the problem is that he can't seem to hit anyone legally and you doofuses keep trying to play the same "oh he's too big??" card you used to have a "moral" stance against. Remind me which NHL team last put out a public statement against "horrifying acts of violence" and now wants to lick their chops and wear the other shoe?It seems to me that a lot of the outrage against Rempe is because a lot of people are afraid he will lay out their players the next time they play the Rangers. Thus, they want the NHL to disqualify him for reasons or something. Can’t be having players who hit hard and instill fear in the NHL.
Funny reading all these “he sucks” comments as well. Did you miss the game? He drew three penalties in like five minutes. You would’ve even found it from the box score.

The only thing that stops a bad guy goon is a good guy goon, right?
