Don't think it will be more than 5 games for a suspension, but probably 2+. The amount of dumb on this play grew exponentially when he raised his arm into the back of Heiskanen's neck/head.

The fact teams still employ these useless bums on their teams in today's nhl is maddening. Rangers are struggling with wins and you play a guy who is a liability from winning you games.
More people care to watch him than heiskanen if we’re being completely honest. Fans and especially the casual fan doesnt really care for soft skill players. Hard nosed players who play on the edge are the entertainment

Thankfully to Rempe, Heiskanen is a Finn so he got up immediately. JK.

For real hitting someone in the numbers like that is just irresponsible and not something a professional hockey player should do.

Can you post a screenshot of an elbow hitting a head? Im not even asking for principle point of contact which is the back. Wont hold my breathe.

No one should do that work for you, it’s clear as day unless you’ve recently run into a Rempe.

This dude is an absolute bozo, the league should be embarrassed to have this shit still happening.

On the other hand, losing your best player changes the trajectory of an entire season and costs a franchise potentially millions of dollars.

Rempe doesn’t have anywhere near the value of a Heiskanen to this league. Even if entertaining, he doesn’t actually sell tickets and whatever small amount of merch he moves is a drop in the bucket compared to a team losing relevance after their 1D gets taken out.
