Don't think it will be more than 5 games for a suspension, but probably 2+. The amount of dumb on this play grew exponentially when he raised his arm into the back of Heiskanen's neck/head.

More people care to watch him than heiskanen if we’re being completely honest. Fans and especially the casual fan doesnt really care for soft skill players. Hard nosed players who play on the edge are the entertainment

Here. Im here. He played a great game. Drew 3 consecutive penalties and then got 5 and the gate for being tall. His elbow hit nothing. His forearm hit his back

On the other hand, losing your best player changes the trajectory of an entire season and costs a franchise potentially millions of dollars.
Rempe doesn’t have anywhere near the value of a Heiskanen to this league. Even if entertaining, he doesn’t actually sell tickets and whatever small amount of merch he moves is a drop in the bucket compared to a team losing relevance after their 1D gets taken out.
Not a suspension, maybe a fine. Probably could've been a 2 minute minor but Heiskanen was bleeding so I get it.

Saw on twitter that if you adjusted rempe’s minutes to “actual nhl player” and not just 4th line plug, he’d have 4 ejections in just over 7 career games.
