Nothing is ever certain of course but he's also turning 25 right away, chances are slim but it would be a welcomed surprise.

Turning 25 means he will be an unrestricted free agent this summer. Someone will definiutely want him so we will have to make a fair offer.

Haven't been watching the habs at all this year, but the sample is starting to become bigger with this guy if we include his Minnesota days. You guys (who've seen more of him than I have) think he might be for real?

As time goes on yes. He'll be a complimentary player, but you need those guys. He'll be a Tatar for us who hopefully will be alright come playoffs time. I think he's got it in him to be a 40-50 pts a year guy on a consistent basis. Let's see if this pans out.

He only played 11 nhl games prior to this year. Before that, he put up decent stats in the ahl and had great production in the ncaa. He's a great skater, has great hands, is solid defensively, and seems to have a good offensive IQ. I don't see why he couldn't be a legit middle 6 player moving.

McDavid's first two step acceleration has no equal. In 2 steps he is at top speed. No one else comes close.

Byron is a terrific skater buy no way is he in Connor's class.
