RedWings 2023 Development Camp

Nate Danielson has got a good, thick neck. That is a great physical sign of strength and the way his body is built.

If he gets some help in whatever team he starts next season (can he go to the AHL if he is ready or does he have to go back to juniors again? Honestly don't know the rules on that), as far as scoring wingers or playmakers and a defense.

If Bedard wasn't prefaced with Danielson's name and Bedard said the hardest center he played against was Danielson, then I have all the confidence in the world that he has the ability to move up quickly.

Are they going to do a scrimmage, and if so is there going to be a stream?

I gotta say, I am very impressed with these kids in the interviews. They all seem so professional already. Very nice to see, especially with some of the stupid unprepared questions the media was throwing out there.

Geez, seems like are media partied all night and came in hung over. Half the time the started talking before they even had a question ready. I'm starting to realize just how bad our hockey media has become.

Also, a couple things that stuck out to me as I watched all the clips.

Kasper just looks awesome in the wings jersey. I think he becomes a fan favorite with Mazur right away.

Danielson, and I said this draft night, is just so business like and calm. He so reminds me of Stevies personality when he was in charge.

ASP seems like he is going to follow the Swedish legacy of great defenseman but he needs to do something with that Mo salad hairdo. Noticed that same look on a couple international players, what gives? Love ya but thats an ugly look bro.

Can't wait to get these kids up and in the lineup together!

Kasper, Danielson, Lombardi, Mazur, ASP and Buium were all very noticeable in a good way. Cossa also looked steady in net.

Savage has also looked realgud.

Phelan and Cleveland look as bad as advertised though.

Dylan James’ shot has looked better than half of Detroit’s main roster in this tourney.

I like Doucet’s puck protection skills but his boots are still pretty heavy.

Really like James. I know people considered his freshman season to be somewhat underwhelming, but I think we should see a big jump in is sophomore season.

Yeah James looks good outside of the top guys.

Wonder why no Wallinder or Dower-Nilsson boys.

I havent watched all the games but when I've had it on, James was very noticeable in a good way. He probably wont play the prospects tourney because hes in college but hes the type of guy whose play style wont stand out in 3 on 3 as much either.

Lombardis skill set is taylormade for 3 on 3, but he looks really, really good out there

Last game, Gibson looked pretty good too
