I never bought any shark cards. I managed to buy all the main businesses, a yacht, some supercars, etc. and did the more lucrative businesses until it got to that "grinding feeling like a real grind" stage.Things like this are a good example of awesome additions to the game which don't require any money.
Yeah, content is expensive, online is definitely designed to be a money-dump, but you can still play the game and not buy shark cards and have fun. Grinding in games is fun and rewarding though.

I managed to get the e3 discount so it came to $56.45 instead of $90.39 Canadian.Holy, that blows.
Any reason you pre-ordered from Amazon rather than GameStop or Best Buy?
The E3 discount doesn’t seem worth it for all the hassle it seems to create. Not for me anyway. I only buy 1 or 2 games a year on their release date so I’ll pay the extra $20 to make sure I get the game when I want it.

GTA V has DLC? News to me.
****ing multiplayer horse****.
I'm just so ready for this damn game. I hope it's as fun as I've hyped it up to be in my mind. I've purposely avoided gameplay trailers and leaks because I want everything to be fresh. So ready.
I usually read reviews and watch someone play for like 30 minutes before I decide to buy a game, but with a Rockstar game that doesn't seem necessary. It's going to be great, I just need to buy it.Am I the only one who has gotten completely tired of preview material?
I’m not even tempted to watch any preview material and haven’t been for years now. I find it mind numbingly boring content. No matter how hyped I am, preview content doesn’t interest me. Spider-Man, Red Dead, BOTW, etc.... I watched zero preview content.
REVIEWS ARE OUT!
Red Dead Redemption 2
97 so far! WOW. Sorry GoW, but you will have to take a backseat to the game of the year it looks like.
While it would be nice to have seen some single player DLC, the online game has received very extensive DLC.
