Go to the "games and apps" tab and in the lower left hand corner of the screen should be a percentage of how full the drive is. I haven't heard anything about a day one patch, but I doubt it'll be as big as the newest Call of duty was
Thanks

100 hour work weeks? WTF. Programmers need to unionize.
It was few dudes very committed to making a game. Not everyone.

The misinformation that kotaku and others just put out there for clicks is f***ing cancer. Look no further how someone thinks it's what happened.

You must have that story. So people look at your website.

It's pathetic and much more common these days - these guys who make these reports know what the truth is, but they twist it just to get views.

I'm pre-ordering this. Don't think I'm willing to pay $20 extra for the premium edition, for the train heist. The online bonuses all seem to be in the ultimate edition (40$ more).

The train heist sounds interesting, and it's something I'd like to play, but not for $20 when that's pretty much the only thing I care about in the bundle. I have Friday off work so I'm incredibly stoked about this game.

EB called to say I can pick up the game on Thursday between 21:00 and 23:00.

Pretty cool to have the option but I am way too old to stand in line with a bunch of other nerds to get a game I won't play that night since I have to get up early on Friday!

But man oh MAN I am PUMPED for this game. Westerns are my jam.

I don’t even look at that sort of prerelease DLC. Im confident the base game has plenty enough content that I will get bored of it long before I’m tempted to buy any extra content. Even Spider-Man which I loved and was super hyped about (hyped enough to buy a PS4 in the first place) I’m not sure I’ll buy the DLC.

I decided to get it against my better judgment (had stuff to trade-in).

I'm really hoping it is more than a single mission, more like a complete heist à-la GTAV.

I don't do multiplayer so I didn't even look at paying for extra bonuses for online.

I went with the $100 edition digitally. If I bought the base game in a physically with tax it would run me just over 90. So I can spare the extra 10 dollars getting it without tax makes it worth it.

I'm on the fence between the normal and special edition. I like idea of getting to play the train robbing mission (a big staple of Wild-West) and the map. But everything else is useless.

What are your guys' thoughts about this?

I don't game a whole lot anymore so on average probably only buy 1 or 2 games max per year. So for me I would probably be willing to pay that little bit more for the special edition as realistically it'll be the only game I play between now and probably January when I'll start playing Battlefield V (Christmas present) and even then i'll spend most of my time when gaming, playing RDR2. In my opinion, I'll get enough hours out of the game for it to justify paying that little bit more, even if you don't actually get that much for the money. Whether that's a logical way of thinking is up for debate but yeah haha!

I bit the bullet and paid 85€. I just can't skip that option to have all single-player content available, as that what I care about in games like this. Smart move by Rockstar to make such an offer too, as they know there are a lot of people like me out there.

They also know they're one of the few studios in the world who can do this. The only other to me is CD Projekt.

I wanted the train heist, but settled on the standard version. It's already 80$ plus tax. Maybe they'll eventually release the train heist ...who knows .

I figured I'd follow the same path as I did in gta V; play through the single player, then play only online.

In order to get the online perks, you have to get the ultimate edition (120$ plus tax ), and there was no way I was doing that, so I settled on standard version. By pre-ordering digitally, I got a bit of free stuff, and I already have the double-action revolver from the gta challenge.

Wanted to play it on the drop but I'm thinking I'll wait until Christmas time or later. Fallout 76 has my interest more after all the GTA Online stuff, I don't really trust Rockstar as much as I once did. I could see this Train heist being like 4 minutes long, with a lot of people dropping out, back to lobby. or whatever.

It isn't an online heist it's a single player mission.

I really hope I see the end of this game. I've started so many great games over the past year or so and just never finished them for no apparent reason other than I found something else to play. God of War, AC: Origins, Persona 5, GTAV, Witcher 3 etc. all met the same fate. I enjoy them a lot, but then I sit down wanting to play a video game and just don't open it and start playing something else until I forget all about the other game. With how long this game supposedly is I can see myself killing it through the first 20 hours or so and then just start playing something else, but I loved the first one and made it all the way through. It's really a more recent thing that I just can't seem to finish games that take longer than like 20 hours for some reason even when I'm enjoying them.

Out of that list, only God of War and Witcher 3 have actual engaging plots. If you are the kind of player that does as many quests as possible finishing Witcher 3 could take around 80+ hours so that game was rather unique in it's length in terms of popular games. I can imagine a lot of people didn't finish it.

I'm curious as to why you put down God of War though. I had trouble with GoW at first because the camera and combat represent a steep challenge if you start the game on hard, but once I got the hang of it I really started enjoying the game and couldn't put it down. Took a good while for me to get comfortable with it too, probably around 15-20 hours.

Pre-release DLC is ****ing bull****. If you developed it, put it in the damn game.

Yep, it's a dirty cash grab that takes advantage of kids that will get their parents to pay for it.
I find the online bonuses more annoying, though. It's dumb when a game is first released and the people that spent more money have a competitive advantage from the get-go.

Just wondering, why don't you trust Rockstar? GTA 5 was a f***ing masterpiece, and they've released an incredible amount of DLC 100% free.
