Not to mention Bratt. Next up, a goalie.Congrats to Nemec and Slovak hockey!
Having one of Hughes and Nemec on the ice for 45 minutes a night seems like it may translate to more wins.
Graves is as good as gone with the LD depth. Not a good use of cap space when you can have an ELC solid defender like Okhotyuk or Bahl on the 3rd pair. I'd also think about moving Severson if the right hockey trade can be made though if he's willing to sign a team friendly deal there is flexibility since there is a lack of RD in the pipeline outside of Nemec.L Hughes (6’2) .- Hamilton (6’6)
Siegenthaler (6’2) - Nemec (6’1)
Graves (6’5) - Severson (6’2)
Smith (5’11)
Okhotyuk (6’2)
Mukhamadullin (6’4)
Bahl (6’6)
Walsh (6’0)
Okhotiuk and Bahl were better than Graves during their end of seasons stints. And Smith who was horrible all year. Smith and Graves are both expendable to different degrees and Severson is probably more expendable and less likely to be resigned now with Nemec being drafted.Graves is as good as gone with the LD depth. I agree I think graves is gone. It was more of a potential lineu but my hopes are in a couple of years our d looks more like this…Graves is as good as gone with the LD depth.
