I think at the end of the day we just go BPA. Kraken need talented players on both sides of the ice so the likes of Nemec or Cooley would work fine.

Currently we are sitting at 3rd overall which could let us get one of Cooley/Savoie but I don't know if either of those two make it to 5OA in case we go up in the standings.

Why? He was maybe our best D in game vs Sweden. Hes a young kid, this tournament is a great experience for him, he will be only better and better after this.

For draft year players, if they make their WJC team, most scouts don't view it as a negative if the player doesn't show well at the tournament. At worst it's a missed opportunity to jump up higher. It's a tournament for 19 year olds. The OLYMPICS I'm sure can be viewed in a similar way, with even more leniency given to these draft year kids.
