Nah, science and history is on my side kiddo.

You must be one of those who play NHL and trade players who turn 25 because their market value starts to decline.

Indeed the market value of a player on the NHL market reaches its peak at 23 years old but because you buy the best future years of the player.

I only see that as an explanation to understand how your reasoning was built and it's rather fitting with your nickname which is that of a fanboy in search of novelty.

But sportingly, players reach their peak in their late twenties. Then it depends on the players. There are some who decline from the age of 25, others who reach their peak after 30 or even after 35 (Giordano, Pavelski) but the very dominant trend is around 27 years old.

Afterwards, if you want to stay closed to what I have just told you, stay with your false science and your false history.

Absolutely perfect performance today.

Wow, that's horrible defending...Why the hell did the two players skate away from the puck?

Good for Nemec though. I would really love one of the top prospects to absolutely destroy in the second half of the year.

Looks like Mesar and the other player got confused as to who was taking the trailer and who was taking Holesinsky. Bad mistake but it’s not uncommon in Euro leagues. Check out Tim Stutzle’s thread during his draft year. Lots of black hole defenders there, but he’s translated well to the NHL

youre scientifically wrong, im not sure what youre lookin for here bud. you cant even provide one single ounce of proof to your ridiculous claims.

To the people that have watched them both in the Slovakia league. How does Nemec compare with Brandt Clarke last year? Just judging by stats, it looks like they’re both the main offensive threat from the blue line on their teams, but Clarke’s team struggled a little more to score. Production rates seem comparable, though only 1 goal for Nemec is weird. Is he too pass happy or just snake bit?

Nice reversal.

Of the 50 players who produce 1PPG or more, only 7 were born in 1998 or later. Or 14%.

And that ignores the later development of defensemen, goaltenders and puckless efficiency.

Even the most favorable statistic for "your science" destroys it.

Bye-bye-bye.

Show me "your science".

Lots of his primary assits were on goals that deflected his shots. He does prefer passing to an open player in a better position when that option is available rather than letting one loose though.

Nitra manager, Tomas Chrenko on Simon Nemec in a recent interview said that he feels Arizona has shown the most interest in Simon, and expects him to be at lowest a 5th pick. He suggested there was a club that would likely ice him in NHL right in the upcoming season, while if not he would be likely allowed to continue developing in Nitra. With more central scouts coming to watch the Slovak league in person, they have apparently raised its credit as a great developmental league for NHL prospects.

if he gets like 4-6 points at the olympics, you think that shoots him up even further on the final rankings for prospects?

I'm confident that he is the best available player in the 2022 NHL draft. I think he is clearly better than Wright in terms of impacting the overall play on the ice. If Nemec played in the SHL or Liiga people would take the #1 talks more seriously.

This is also my opinion, but I don't see a GM taking the risk of taking Wright over Cooley just because of the risk associated in terms of fan reaction.

absolutely

Thanks for the feedback.

My heart says that the Kraken should grab the best forward available where we draft (currently 3rd) but my brain says that we should go for Nemec. I don't know much about the Slovak league and have not really followed Nemec that much but 23 points in 32 games as a D-man while playing against men as a 17 year old kid seems extraordinary to me.

This draft just seems to have so much uncertainty 1-10 that who knows what is on the Kraken board. So far the only constant seemed to be Wright at #1OA but even that is no guarantee anymore.

kraken need to go get Cooley or another center, but Nemec easily is someone that can anchor a defense for years
