did you not say this?
"Drysdale and Sanderson have played 2 games each since they were drafted"
Nope not me. I'd never say something untrue. I'm great.

Great young dman. Best dman in the draft by a wide margin. Should have gone second overall.
Not even close buddy.Great young dman. Best dman in the draft by a wide margin. Should have gone second overall.
I agree, its not even close. Hes by far the nest dman in the draft. Not even close buddy.
I think at this point hes a lock to be on the WJC all star team. Maybe named best dman.I also had him as the second best player in the draft.
Stutzle should have gone 2nd overall. And while you can make a case that Drysdale is the best d-man in the draft it is in no way by a 'wide margin'.I agree, its not even close. Hes by far the nest dman in the draft.
Nope. Drysdale.Stutzle should have gone 2nd overall. And while you can make a case that Drysdale is the best d-man it is in no way by a 'wide margin'.
Ah, so you have the argument skills of a 5-year old.Nope. Drysdale.
Can you stick to talking drysdale here please?Ah, so you have the argument skills of a 5-year old.
Can you defend your position please? Can you stick to talking drysdale here please?
Nope. Drysdale.
Anyway take your stutzle talk elsewhere this is a drysdale thread.
Easily the best skating dman in the draft, great passing game, nearly a point per game as a dman at age 17 on the OHL, while olaying a solid 2 way game, makes team canada prior to draft last year and plays well, and takes a step forward and has been the best player on the ice in 2 games now for team canada (the first being exhibition against russia). Can you defend your position please?
Is a nest dman the same as a stay at home dman?I agree, its not even close. Hes by far the nest dman in the draft.

These comparisons to other players (''they are better than X'') is what makes these threads derail. I'm actually seeing that the ones saying that Drysdale is definitely better than Sanderson, are almost all not Ducks fans.
On the topic: the previous Niedermayer comparison is interesting. Drysdale has really good IQ and he skates well, but the offense might be lacking and Drysdale is 2 inches shorter, albeit built like a square basicallyWill be interesting to monitor for sure.
Nieds took 1 year in junior after the draft, then 4 seasons of around/below 0.5PPG before scoring 57 points in a season and seemed to be above 0.5PPG from then.
On Ducks boards there is a ''RHD Fowler'' comparison which seems about right, albeit I think Drysdale might have a bit more bite in his game.
Great young dman. Best dman in the draft by a wide margin. Should have gone second overall.
I think at this point hes a lock to be on the WJC all star team. Maybe named best dman.
Ifbhe has another strong game he will def be on the AS lineup. But they wont name him player of the game again, they usually spread it around.
Excellent pregame special on TSN about drysdale. Talk of him gunning for a wjc mvp. That would make him onky the second dman in world junior history and the first as an 18 year old if successful.Just the other day everybody was saying he was a bum.
I wouldn't say sanderson is a bum but hes definitely a tier below drysdale thats for sure.I'm being thick here with this thread, I thought I was commenting on a statement that Sanderson was better than Drysdale hence my statement that people were saying three games ago he was a bum (Sanderson)
Regarding the comparison between Neidermayer and Drysdale...Neidermayer played at about 6' 200lbs. Drysdale will likely play at close to 6' 190lbs. Neidermayer had better offensive numbers in his draft year but he also had 4 teammates who had 100+ points (including a defenseman in Daryl Sydor). Drysdale's team was not blessed with virtually any offensive talent. I think Drysdale will be a more dynamic player at the NHL level than Fowler due to his skating. He'll probably get many more assists than goals but the offense will be there. Pointwise, I see Drysdale and Fowler as comparable.
Ah, so you have the argument skills of a 5-year old.
bad theory as Fowler is one of the top skating players in the league let alone dmen
