RD Jamie Drysdale (2020, 6th, ANA)

This was in late may. Can you tell me what part of him being a top candidate as wjc mvp has changed this?

I forgot about Seider too. I can understand an argument he’s a superior d prospect than Drysdale. Could we say Drysdale is likely to be a better point producer than any current d prospect?

Seider isnoretty good but in my opinion drysdale is a tier above.
 
I'd trade Drysdale for Seider. That being said Drysdale will be a top pairing defensemen imo, I just think Seider is a little better.

Why are you quoting some random moron with a blog instead of Bob McKenzie, who gets information from real scouts? Bob, in his final rankings, clearly stated that there was no unanimous top dman in the draft.

Another fantastic performance by drysdale. He has been clearly seperating himself from the pack. It makes you wonder how he would have compared to lafreniere had he played at the tourney.

Arguably the best performance by an 18 year old dman ever. It baffles me he fell to 6th.

Well, its very rare 18 year old dmen play in this tourney. Even more rare they play for TC or another top team. And yet this kid is not only doing it, but excelling, on the top pairing nonetheless...... and getting talk of tourney mvp.

So yes, what i said is perfectly valid. Im not sure why that triggers you so badly.

he's not close to being MVP so far, i mean its debatable he's even ahead of his own d-partner. let alone guys like Zegras and Stutzle.

just because he's 18 and doing well doesn't mean he's the best.

I'm not crapping on him I'm just discussing the player. specifically whether he's been the tournaments mvp or not

Well we wont know until its done. The big games are just coming up now. All we know for now hes accomplished the rare feat of being a top dman as an 18 year old and a top candidate.

His skating is pretty damn beautiful, so smooth forward backwards crossovers.
As a ducks fan he reminds me of somewhere in between Fowler and neidermyer

I don’t know that he can be prime neidermyer hood, but I think he’ll def be better than prime Fowler. All 3 amazing skating 2way dmen
