I’ve seen him 2 times this season, he’s very good offensively and can skate quite well. Needs to improve his ability to box out and take way passing and shooting lanes. It’s to early to tell how he will be compared to Martin but I think he’s better than Martin at the same age

Hujujuj, so far in future ... Draft 2024. I dont even dream about this. My dreams go maximal to year 2023.

little update: 13 goals, 30 assists, 43 points (1.43 ppg) +73 with 6 penalty minutes.
- His ppg has gone down a bit thou, but still he is having a really good season, obviously.

still 2nd in team points: Petrik 53 points, Chromiak 43 points, Ondrasik 42 points.
- leads the team in +/- (2nd best; Ondrasik +52).

still leads the league in d-men points, ppg, +/- and in assists, 2nd in goals.

Maybe it is due to the fact that he is playing in top u16 group now. Eliteprospect does not distinguish between regional groups and top U16 group..

5'2 at 14 years old...yeah, i'm not sure he has NHL potential. For reference Connor Beddard who is a few months older is 5'8 and he's pretty small.

Strong start to the season for Jakub.
He jumped from last season U16 team, to the U18 team this season.

1 goal, 1 assist, +3 for 2 games.

Leads his team in d-man points
and the entire team in +/-.

1 other 05 player with this team; Lubos Stahos* (2023 Draft).
* leads the team in goals and points. (in 4 games).

A few days ago, Jakub joined the training process of the Slovak team U18, which plays matches in the lower men's league, so he could also have a debut among men in the nearest matches. I'm really curious about him, he's probably not a talent of Simon Nemc's level, but he's another great Slovak talent in defense.

Today he made his debut among men in the lower tier slovak men's league. Despite the fact that this was for him match after a long time and despite the fact that he was the youngest player in the U18 national team (15 years 3 months 6 days) he played a pretty good match. He didn't seem to be the youngest on the ice at all, he skated well, he tried to make creative passes. It was not ideal on the defensive, but it could be expected due to age and lack of experience and gaming practice. Personally, he interested me today, next season he should be one of the best in this u18 national team and he should also make his debut in the top tier slovak men's league, if he does not go abroad.

Good to hear!.

He finished his first pro year with 9 pts in 16 games in Slovak second league as a d-man. He’s really skilled for a Dman, I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up being the second best 2005 born Slovak, behind Dvorsky only. I think he could get some games with Dukla Trencin next year and split time with U20 team.

Hope he'll have similar curve of progress as his older brother. I'd say he's better player at the same age than Martin. But it's still 2024 draft and I don't really think he is reminiscent to Simon Nemec when it comes to talent and upside. Hope he'll change my mind soon.

And he was +19!

Thank you from this info, much appreciated.
