How many times a game does Dunleavy say "stays with it"?

Never noticed any excessive use of this before, but i'll listen for it now. I still like Dunleavy. Doesn't try and be "RJ2.0." Sounds like he keeps it interesting for radio listeners and paints a pretty accurate picture of the game.

Dunleavy definitely has his vocal quirks. He likes to use the players full name instead of just the last name, he loves saying "big Tyler Myers" or "the Big man" every time he talks about him, and he likes to be very specific in his descriptions. I.e. right wing, instead of wing. If you listen to RJ he's very economic in his word choice and you can visualize the game as though you're sitting anywhere in the arena, Dunleavy describes the game specifically from his vantage point.

Eh, every announcer has the phrases they use a lot. RJ uses "clears the puck" for everything--he always uses it even when he means "centering the puck", but we ignore it at this point. Emrick says drive for everything, Beninati says melts the puck instead of freezes it, etc.

As someone who doesn't have any emotional attachment or added sentimental value to RJ, Dunleavy is a league above him at this point, to say the least.

Quite frankly, I switch over to the other stream if RJ is commentating. It's just not enjoyable anymore. Probably sounds cynical because of the cancer aspect of it all, I know, but just being honest here. ;/

(want him to sit there forever that is)

I just want to say "Nice Job" to the United Way silent auction. My last second bid got "acrost", and now I am the proud owner of a signed Rob Ray jersey.
