OT: Ranking Our Most Disliked Teams

Pittsburgh has Crosby and Malkin- got Crosby's pick that our franchise honestly deserved- and unashamedly tanked twice- Once for Lemeiux and once for Fleury.

Devils are only a 1 because of how pathetic their organization is right now. They’re back to a being a mickey mouse franchise.

Boston constantly lucks into players and their fans act like that makes them special. The only fans less deserving of a championship are Pittsburgh fans

Anyone not giving at least 2 points to pitt and 1 to Boston and Montreal should have their votes disqualified on principle. When you ask me about hate... you GET hate

This is true, thank God. They have been mostly irrelevant for 35 years now but their fans are still delusional and obnoxious even with them sucking for decades. They win a playoff round and they are planning the parade route. It was simply unbearable when they won their cups in the early 80's. Wait until there is a playoff series between the 2 teams. You will all see then.

I'm guessing no one who has voted is as old enough to remember the Islanders beating us year after f***ing year in the playoffs?...lol

That's the only reason I can come up with why the Islanders don't get the hate they deserve as anyone who is under 40 all they know is Islanders suckage whereas peeps like me recall vividly how they broke our hearts year after year.

Now that the Philes are relevant tho, one would think more of my younger brothers in here would start to feel the hate for them beginning to fester. It will probably take a few playoff series between our two teams before we can really get some real hate brewing between us.

Be prepared tho as some of my peeps in here who were around like I was in the early to mid 80's, there is NOTHING and I do mean NOTHING like the rivalry that is the Rangers vs the Islanders when both our teams are good and relevant.

I'd say beginning next year when we make our first playoff appearance in what will be 4 years, hopefully we'll meet up with the Islanders so some of you young one's will know the kind of hatred some of us felt 40 years ago. I for one am sincerely looking forward to that day!...:nod:

Man, I just wrote almost the same thing in the game thread. I hated them with a passion, but they became irrelevant. Yet, the fans are delusional and bitter. They say the Rangers sucked for not winning a Cup in that 10-year playoff run, but celebrate like winning the Cup after one series win last year.
