They're 2-7 on the road this post season. Just brutal. Winning the last 8 at home masks that very efficiently.

I have to agree with you here. Teams that have aspirations need to find ways to overcome the line matching, atmosphere, and travel and win on the road. We broke one of Tampa's streaks this series. No reason they can't do the same to us Thursday.

While I know it’s natural to get a boost from your home crowd, this just can’t be the only way to win. You absolutely need to be able to win on the road outside of TWO f***ING ELIMINATION GAMES.

Broken team mentality. Weak.

Please don't give me this crap about weak mentality. They came back from 3-1 and 2-0 deficits and won on the road when they had to. The last time against a team that was 7-0 at home. It has nothing to do with weak mentality. Maybe it's just all the hockey has caught up to them plus injuries and playing a pretty good team that knows how to get it done.

We need Igor to have his true moment. As great as he’s been, he hasn’t really gone full lockdown. He needs to go like Hank mode when he just decided nothing was getting past him and he was winning the series himself. A shutout. A fully locked in Igor is what we need.

They way Chytil hit his head reminded me of when Trouba got a concussion against the Isles when his head hit the glass.

So my friend went to game 3 in Tampa and sat a little ways back behind the benches. Apparently behind the Rangers bench (twice) there were Lightning fans who kept on putting their mouths up against the cracks in the glass and heckling the Rangers. At one point one of the Rangers equipment guys got tired of it and spread this jelly substance all over the glass where they were sitting, completely ruining their view. The fans tried to moan and complain about it to the event staff nearby but the staff just shrugged their shoulders and told them they shouldn't have been so annoying. Here's a pic of the glass after the equipment guy mucked it up lol.

Well. That sucked. Seems as if a lot of people forgot that Tampa has won back to back cups and just steamed rolled the juggernaut panthers in 4.

I wouldn't be nearly as concerned if we weren't down 2.5 Centers. I say 2.5 because Goodrow is so clearly not 100%. Also, because the officials have stopped calling anything on Tampa, we are in trouble. We definitely deserved to lose tonight but there should have easily been half a dozen penalties on Tampa.

If we win game 5 I still think we win the series. But I'm very nervous about our chances of winning game 5 with how fragile this team is. Panarin is hurt. Lindgren is skating on one leg, as is Goodrow. No Strome. No Chytil. Fox looks hurt.

On top of all of that, Vasy has returned to his elite state. Eek.

If Strome, Chytil, and even Goodrow are out for Game 5 you know what our lineup might look like:

Kreider-Zibanejad-Vatrano

Panarin-Copp-Hunt

Lafreniere-Motte-Kakko

McKegg-Rooney-Reaves

That is literally a preseason NHL lineup.

Reality is humbling enough without taking it to an unrealistic level. All 3 as inactive? Nonsense. More likely all 3 are active. All 3 effective? TBD.

Copp and Goodrow can’t move and are limited. Chytil should be cleared (no inside info) but will be cool off now? Strome probably plays too, but how effective? He’s probably more hurt than injured. Penguin-series version of Lafreniere is needed more than ever. Not getting anything from Kakko now, really frustrating.

Get Brodzinski in, ahead of Rooney or Hunt. The fact you’re putting McKegg in is obnoxious.

Go balls out at home and win a 2-0 game.

There was no reason to say anything before the game and ruin the mood, but I would have bet my house on the Lightning in this game.

I knew from the get-go they would blow us away in Tampa. Game 3 was our chance to steal one and we didn't get it over the line.

We still have home ice and it's going to be a very different game at MSG.. Momentum is just your imagination playing tricks on you.

Every Rangers player in all situations were out there for at least one offensive zone faceoff, except 3 players.

Kakko, Chytil and Laf in a game the Rangers trailed basically the entire way.

Kinda shocking to me how many saw and knew this game was over after 5 minutes.

We've seen these kind of games. We know how they go down. A shame.

He is also playing on one leg. Right before the pk he went down again and clearly laboring...still played the first PK unit.

The problem is both Bread and Strome have done zero to open up anything 5 v 5 and he is too busy skating back to cover one of breads turnovers.
