Rough game on all fronts. Funny that for a while on this stretch it seemed like our only weakness was our top line, and this game nobody else showed up to play.

Can't win them all but we at least have to show up. Everyone other than Kreider and Nash was pretty dreadful and then Kreider ruined it by taking another awful penalty himself.
Kreider is still learning plus he has being asked to not only be a playmaker but also to be physical which will result in penalties. However its tough to balme kreider too much. Him and nash were the only ones who played tonight. it was basically the Islanders vs Kreider/Nash

Sorry to say, but....

Hank would have won us this.

Line juggling messed things up a bit.

They all seemed unprepared.

so who is to blame today?

AV

simple as that

They didn't play that bad. Islanders scored some nice goals, they have a solid team and they're hot right now.

Barely lost a game that they made a TON of mistakes in, and the Isles goalie had maybe the best game of his life.

Could have won. Should have won. Barely lost. Such is life watching the modern NHL.

The fan base here is absolutely absurd. For all of the Sather hating, and trust me, I think he's been a fool, I'm 99% certain that most people here would be worse with their knee-jerk BS. Way worse.

I agree.

The modern NHL whistled an icing that has never been an icing in all the years the NHL has existed which directly led to the too many men penalty.

That doesn't happen, Rangers get at least a point tonight, even as inconsistent as they were.

You have to admit the Islanders played a spirited game. They carried the energy and the Rangers just didn't have the same level.
It happens. Too bad to give up that lead, they have to be embarrassed a bit about that.

Not mentioned on the broadcast:

As awesome as the 2nd Nash goal was, how the hell was he THAT far out of the play after the Islanders just had a great chance on an odd man rush?

It would be unacceptable if we were the Ducks, or the Penguins.

Not the Rangers.

No.

The Pens were embarrassed by the Panthers recently.

Good teams lose to ****** teams. Are we a good team? Who knows, but we've certainly been playing like one over the past month. In the grand scheme of things, its one thing. The big problem is that we were so bad at the beginning of the season that we need as many points as we can get.

I picked Kreider cuz he needed more votes. I was happy with, yes, just the two of them.

Girardi should've been a poll choice out of respect for Denis Potvin.

If someone wasn't sick...

I resent that :(
