Snowblinds pessimism proved to be true.

This was a bad loss. He had it pegged after the first period.

Four unanswered goals and sloppy defense. Islanders deserved to win.

We all love the hobbit, but he's had a rough few games. When he's been playing like he is, I'm not putting the game on his shoulders either.
 
The home fans of this team are embarrassing. I thought with the cheap tickets, more of the supposed 'priced out hardcore fans' would show up.
And yet, I still hear nothing except the occasionally potvin chant

Why are people talking **** on Talbot? Either way the D of this team hasent been good for 2 games straight. I am afraid to face the Blues with the way the team has been, they are going to be real angry after being embarrassed today. Of course we were embarrassed today by the awful Islanders.
 
I wouldn't be as upset about losing to the Isles if we didn't blow a two goal lead.

They've been playing well lately and a ****** loss is bound to happen but c'mon. This was just garbage.

Rangers could be winning 10-0, with only a minute to go in the third, allow a single goal, and he'd still go off on how this team sucks.
 
Kreider didn't suck? He only took his mandatory stupid penalty with 5 minutes left in the game. I don't get about how many goals or assists he had. That penalty negated all of them

Which has becoming nothing more than a hardcore hipster thing. Something of a rallying cry for the fake fans.
 
Also, we should have traded Pouliot when he had a modicum of value. He looked like a clumsy Pyatt tonight.
 
so this is the now the rangers m.o. every time they play the islanders? throw away all semblance of a game-plan and structure and skate around like teenagers on a first date?

Ridiculous how idiotic they play against this team.

Ice the puck late then try to go on offense when they should have dumped and line changed. Then Richards and Hagelin were lazy getting to the bench and Kreider was too quick getting on.

The "icing" wasn't an icing under real hockey rules. Multiple players could have played the puck. I said a few games ago, these icing rules are going to cost a team a playoff spot. Evidence submitted.

Yes, afterwards, it was a lazy change, and the too many men penalty was deserved.
 
This was embarrassing. Utterly embarrassing. The Jackets and Devils put up 12 goals between them against 2 of the best Ds in the league and won. Toronto is up 2-0 against Colorado. Not only did this team not show up to play, they blew a 3-1 lead despite not deserving it. Gave up the game winning goal on a too many men on the ice penalty, couldn't get a ****ing point.
