Even then, waivers wouldn't accomplish that. Not needed, unless the Rangers want to sign another player.

Even if he never gets into a game, it will be a valuable learning experience to spend the next months practicing with the team, getting to know NY, etc.
Better than just going home after school season ends and playing open hockey with benders till september
Pix.totally went to high school with this kid's older sister.
Reasons why he went undrafted?
who needs draft picks when you can successfully sign kids out of college just in time for playoffs
not sure the first clip is the right Ryan Haggerty.
The kid that signed today just turned 21 years old a week ago.
that clip is from 2007? That would make him 13 in February 2007
Unless the date at the top of the clip is mm/yy/dd not mm/dd/yy
Either way I'm happy.
I work with his aunt and she was crying as i showed her this thread.
Hope he works out.
Allen is a better prospect than most drafted late in the first round. That, however, is an exception. For every Allen, you get a ton of guys like Nicholls and Grant.
Little over a month ago I had posted about signing one of Carey, Ryan Walters, Ryan Haggerty, Mark Zengerle or Brock Higgs.
Haggerty is the closest to a Pro Center in that group, the rest are Wingers, IMO. Carey and Zengerle are dangerous players, would've liked to have been in on them too.
James Van Riemsdyk grew up a Rangers fan--makes me wonder anyway whether his brother Trevor might want to sign with us. Rangers IMO are going to have a number of openings going into next season at both the NHL and AHL levels--if they can grab TVR plus one off your list that would be really really good for us.
You don't see Zengerle as a center?Little over a month ago I had posted about signing one of Carey, Ryan Walters, Ryan Haggerty, Mark Zengerle or Brock Higgs.

Gonna have to go this route the next few years, gotta hope one or two hit the mark.

Does Haggerty actually play C? I thought he was a winger already.
