Just hope he has a trade up his sleeve because Stepan isn't really a 1C and our center depth was exposed in the SCF.
Very happy with the signing. RHD PPQB, veteran that's used to winning, logged minutes on winners for a long time. Brings leadership, and Klein can handle defensive matchups if Boyle can't. Makes the team better.
Since he's old, I expect nearly everyone here to crap on him. The word decline shall be associated with Boyle for the next two years.
Btw this isn't a mice that will help jersey sales for those that already own the 22 Boyle jerseys.

I would think Boyle got the number the Rangers had for Stralman. In AAV, not years.

Lots of overreaction here, but then again, what else is expected? Just like all the tweens that complained about acquiring Carcillo, but then were his biggest fans by the end of the season.

Dan Boyle has earned roughly 60 million dollars playing NHL hockey, leaving a million or two on the table doesn't impress me
I'm on board with this. Effectviely replaces the richards hole on the PP. Brings some good offense and can handle average minutes at ES.
Not thrilled with the AAV but i love the term. And at the end of the day, Stralman's contributions on this team can be replaced easier than people seem to think.
