No trade is not a no move. You can expose players with no trades.

I'd say his contract is on par for a 2nd pairing Dman. If he ends up being paired with McDonagh, it becomes a bargain.

I always say it. The UFA market is terrible. Don't venture into it for non-difference makers. You sign your players that you want to keep early for non-UFA prices.

And lets not forget we are missing a top 6 center because Gorton didn't like the NTC HE NEGOTIATED into the contract of the player he just traded.

We don't need proven NHL D. We are a proven mediocre team with many problems. Don't force contention, its not there. This team doesn't learn.

Smith is getting paid as a #4 to be a #4, has a limited NTC and the term is 4 years.

Lundqvist's contract is fine and your understanding of why Stepan got traded is pretty limited.

We've won 1 round over the last two years. This team goes all in every year, and now we struggle to win 1 round in the playoffs.
