I’m not factoring Nils or Miller. I was at the prospect meet and greet and I met them both. Nils is very small and needs to gain weight before playing in the NHL. His English is good though.

I think Nils will spend at least a year in SHL. Probably 2. Could be 3-4 years before he's making meaningful contributions in NHL. Miller spends a year in college and a year in the A. 3-4 years away. Hajek is a bit of an unknown. Rykov could be anything. Lindgren has limited upside IMO.

Bottom line .... we still have tons of work to do on the blue line.

I think Nils will spend at least a year in SHL. Probably 2. Could be 3-4 years before he's making meaningful contributions in NHL. Miller spends a year in college and a year in the A. 3-4 years away. Hajek is a bit of an unknown. Rykov could be anything. Lindgren has limited upside IMO.

Bottom line .... we still have tons of work to do on the blue line.

Nope, the FA class the next 2 or so years is pretty trash. Only comparable to Panarin is Taylor Hall, and I'd rather slightly have Panarin anyway.

the only unknowns are the 3rd LD between hajek, rykov, lindgren and the 3rd RD between shattenkirk and fox. I think skjei, trouba, ada and staal are given. obviously we all want staal gone, but give me hajek and fox with a 1/2 year experience and I think that blueline, while not perfect can be better than we have seen in a long time in the 2nd half of the year. how many teams have 6 blueliners that they like? we could have 5.
