They lost to the Flames lolThat was my thinking too.
Maybe Rangers fans can enlighten us but...why the panic?

Just get rid of Zibanejad and Lindgren and move forward
He's not the same guy, they'd have to retain a shit ton and be in the right system.Trouba is big RD and his contract isn't long in a rising cap environment). Of course teams will be interested. Its just a question of if the Rangers would retain, take bad salary back or incentivize another team with other pieces. And which teams are on Trouba's NTC.

IMO Trouba is still better than Fowler. Trouba does suck defensively but he is a menace to play against (good for a massive hit once every three weeks) and decent on the PK. Fowler at this point just sucks defensively and doesn't bring much else to the table.Lol I'd be surprised to see Kreider actually moved, The Fowler - Trouba proposal from the off season still makes sense though. The Ducks are set on the left side
What's up with Lindgren? I thought he was a bit of a fan favourite at one point
I know I made a Lightning joke but I was being mostly serious. That's the kind of guy they're gonna be looking for and I wouldn't be surprised if they ask about a price tag for Kreider almost immediatelyI find it hard to believe the Rangers move Kreider. His contract is manageable even as his play begins to drop. He's a career 30 goal pace scorer that brings a dimension that many teams are missing or need more of.
Dropped a like for the response but not for the content, that sucks to hear. I have respect for the guys who play that waySlowed down TREMENDOUSLY. Injuries have taken a toll on him. He's a warrior and a character guy, but he's a liability out there. He could be a decent third-pair defensive defenseman.
Sure, we can be surprised. Imo it's buyer beware, but if a team wants a guy who takes himself out of the play, go get him. Why, because bad overpaid physical D (especially RD) haven't been traded almost every season? Come on now.
Uh they're 12-6-1 on the year and 6-4 in their last 10.
Really weird timing for this.

These are the reigning regular season champs we’re talking about though. Those are the highest standards that team has.
They're on pace to finish the year with 108 points and are 8th in the NHL in point%.
Kinda weird to start panicking right now.
Just fire the coach and move on.
