Has anyone seen ushers in the end zone 200s during the post season? I feel like I've gotten up and down during play to let people in and out of the row more in the post season than I did the previous 5 years of sitting in my current seats.

Stubhub just completed its integration with ViaGoGo - I wonder if that will have any impact on ticket prices.

How difficult is it to sell on SH these days? The past couple seasons I switched to TM, but was wondering if tickets go for more on SH.

I personally like selling on Stubhub more than TicketExchange. It seems easier to move seats on Stubhub. I think it helps that my seats are on the aisle and you can filter by that.

Yeah, mine are as well. TM doesn't even put the "home team attacks twice" on the chart which is also annoying. But how do you actually list the tickets with the new bar code system?

Be careful with listing tickets on Stubhub now with the new changes, one of the preset features is any number of tickets may be purchased, make sure you change it to all tickets must be purchased together or prevent one ticket remaining unsold.

I use skybox as a POS. Most of my sales are through vivid. I'd rather use tm since the fees are lower and you don't need to worry about transferring the tickets. Not sure which is best for selling. I want to try a different pos that includes tm.

It’s so bad I gave up on them. Once the bar code thing became a, er thing, I couldn’t figure out how to post the actual e-ticket on SH. The phone agent I used to re-post assured me the sale was posted but the buyer got stuffed at the door. I felt so bad, but some customer service dooshwagon emailed me a day later and shaded me to the max. I ended up writing a letter to four senior. “Customer Experience” gurus, but fk them.

TL;DR = Fk StubHub continuously and constantly.

You need to transfer the tickets to the buyer through ticketmaster. Stubhub can only use bar codes for MLB and NFL games I believe.

Yes. For NFL Stubhub is an official partner and you copy and paste the barcode numbers. But for NHL I’ve only had good experiences with the ticket transfer. It’s easy enough receiving the recpient email address and forwarding the tickets. I’ve considered reaching out to these individuals, since I now have their email address to arrange potential future sales and cutting out Stubhub but just haven’t gotten around doing that.

I always send an email immediately upon transferring and ask if they want to repeat in the future as well to reach out directly sans fees.

I thought this was against their policies and if you did that you could get banned as a seller?

How does SH verify that you actually forwarded the tickets?
You have to confirm you have. Then it's on the buyer to contact them if you didn't. Annoyingly, there have been several times where I've gotten calls from stubhub asking me to send the tickets when I already had proof I sent. Basically, the buyer didn't accept the tickets when I sent (immediately after sale) then waited for game day and said they never got them.

I hit a confirm button on Stubhub’s page. I have not had a problem, YET, of a buyer claiming they did not receive the tickets when I did in fact transfer them. I assume the Ticketmaster email confirmation would be enough to verify that I did transfer the seats and should get paid.

it probably is against their policy but unless the buyer notifies them that you are contacting them there’s really no way for them to know. And you kind of have to be an a-hole if you report a seller who’s trying to ccut you in on savings for potential future transactions.

Yea, it probably is, and so what? I make sales on there all the time and because the mobile transfer is not always understood, I always email the buyers with instructions on how they need to set up an account and claim the tickets. At the end, I'll add a sentence that says I'm a STH and they can contact me directly in the future if interested.

If they want to ban me because of that, so be it. I make a ton of sales on there so they are only losing money for themselves, while I have numerous other outlets where I can list them.

As for the email I send, while I haven't yet had an issue where someone complains and lies about not getting the transfer, having an audit trail with the transfer sent, claimed tickets + instructive email, would certainly be enough for me to get my funds. I believe the Rangers can also confirm whether or not the barcodes were scanned for entry, but haven't needed to call my rep and ask for that yet.

I like it, I think I'm gonna do that from now on.

I've sent screenshots before to prove I've delivered. Someone said they didn't get the tickets after they were claimed. Not sure if an attempted scam or if the buyer just forgot he claimed.

Worst that happens is they ban you. I like Stubhub but it's not like it's the end all be all. I'm not even sure whether I leave money on the table by possibly selling through other outlets. At the end of the day, I'd much rather save real fans money by selling directly. It's insanity that I sell a ticket and net like $400 while Stubhub is getting $600-$700. They can get f***ed for all i care.

Stubhub just has a button you click to confirm you transferred the tickets. Vivid seats requires you to upload proof and I just use the screenshot ticketmaster gives you after you transfer the tickets. I do this for SH sales as well just in case.

When I was a STH in Vegas, I would use TickPick to advertise my seats in addition to using the team's platform. I too hated the giant mark up the team would get in fees added to the sale, so TickPick is a nice alternative as they add no buyers fees at all & just charge the sellers 10% Most sellers raise their prices on the site 10-15% to cover the fees & the buyers are happy because they can see the advertised price as the price they pay & it's still cheaper than SH or the VGK's own ticket exchange.

Where can you upload proof within Stubhub?

I listed and sold my tickets on the new Stubhub, but am not getting any email notifications. Anyone else have similar? Website seems kinda buggy tbh.
