EDIT: Never mind, I'm an idiot. It hit my bank account today, so I just forgot to update the payout option.

Happened to me too, except for Game 7. As of right now, my working theory is that in the fine print, even account credit takes like 5-7 days to process, so it may just not have been posted to the account in time.
Also there’s this: they don’t give you your cash until the game happens. I sold a Jan ARI game in October and didn’t get my money until the week of the game.

Do they send you a 1099? I don’t think they do….😈
For tax year 2022 if you get more than $600 from stubhub TM etc for payments (not counting friends and family) you will get a 1099-K. That doesn't tell you income but instead tells you how much payments you received. Ordinarily you are taxed on transaction date but the 1099-K is based on payment date which can be a different year.

I have a pair
Sec 225, Row 21, Seats
3-4

Can't go anymore. I paid $526.80 ($263.40 each). Anyone want them? Ticketmaster listing adds $50 in fees, so would rather just sell them direct.

Best to post this in the tickets thread, not season ticket holder thread. Most people who read this will already have tickets to the game.

Not sure what prices are at this point given the loss last night, but I sold my pair (very similar row & section) before last night's game for significantly more than what you paid even after fees.

Prices were pretty bad for last night but that was to be expected for a an early weekday game after a holiday. Looks like demand should be a little better for Friday.

My buddy in 104 dropped his price to face value at noon yesterday & his pair didn't sell by 6pm, so he took them down & gave them away to his business partner.

People are saving their cash for the later games in the series. If you can only afford to go to one or two games the average fan is probably going to prefer a game 6 or 7. For the Penguins series something came up and I had to sell day of…I got 4x.

I don't know what people are going to do for the cup finals when the cost of tickets will be double this round. Are those prices set by the nhl?

Anyone remember what cup finals tickets cost in 2014?

No..prices set by the teams.

In Vegas when they made the Finals in the first year, the 3rd round was a bitch to sell. Everybody was waiting to buy seats for the SCFs & they sold with giant profit margins. I had 4 seats to every game(2 separate pairs) & made a boatload of cash. I'm sure the same thing is happening now for the Rangers.

Yeah, it stinks when you can't get more than face for a playoff game. But sometimes it happens. I was able to get over double face for tomorrow and demand will no doubt be strong for a game 5 assuming we don't lose the next three. 🤫

Mine were $222 or some weird number like that off the top of my head. I could be off by $20 or so either way but it's that general range. Same seats are $515 this year.

Anyone that went find the new camera incredibly annoying? I'm in row 15 and it would be in my line of sight over the ice at various points. I could only imagine how much more annoying it is for people higher up.

Yeah the camera was annoying. I’m in the corner and when the camera moved I thought it was the goalie straying from the net or a possible TMM call coming. Then I realized it was the camera. I don’t understand why they can’t build a camera rail on the face of the Chase bridge. I think Toronto had a set up like that. Camera could go back and forth along the bridges following the game play without interfering with the view.

Its from ESPN, not MSG. Best they can do is string a line, they cant build on the chase bridge.

I thought it was the Tampa goalie going off for a delayed penalty when I would catch it out of the side of my eye coming down the ice lol.

Don't know who sets the prices. My seats in 213 row 23 were 200 each in 2014 and 225 each in 2015.

I sold my tickets to game 4 at the start of the series (after we lost game 1) for around $1100 each. Tickets right now are already sky high for a theoretical game 1.

The camera was absurd.
